Explant under local anesthesia - over the moon with my results

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Dayan since September 2019. My good friend was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a double mastectomy. She had found Dr. Dayan on instagram when he was still in Texas. She had corresponded with him just days before for preop for her double mastectomy surgery. Without hesitation or meeting her in person, he showed up to her pre-op in Reno. During this time he was preparing to get his own practice off the ground here in Reno.

Immediately following her surgery Dr. Dayan came out to greet myself, her husband and her father. He was informative and was open to any questions any of us had.

Following his reconstruction plan, she was able to get spacers which were filled up in office during several sessions. From the front desk staff to his nurses and other office staff; everyone was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She is now healed and has had her spacers replaced with permanent implants. Her results are extremely impressive.

Since her amazing experience at Avance, I had made my own decision to remove my almost 17 year old saline implants removed in office under local anesthesia with a compete capsulectomy.

I began seeking consultations and knew I needed to go to Avance. I had one other consultation and ultimately chose Dr. Dayan. He was so informative, explained the surgery as well as the recovery thoroughly and to my understanding. I arrived for my preop and he verified that I understood the whole surgery, the recovery and that I had realistic expectations.

I met with the office manager and was advised there were some dates in the next 3 weeks. I was not pressured into booking at all and she advised they would be in contact in the next week. The next day I decided to book and call the office. On 7/13/2022 I arrived at the office at 6:45am. I was given my pre surgery medications and was in the operating room by 7am. My implants were removed while I was awake without a single complication. Dr. Dayan and his nurse Rosa made sure I was comfortable before, during and after my surgery. I was home by 8:30am and began my rather easy recovery. I took one pain pill as a precautionary measure but I had no pain whatsoever. I had my first post op just 2 days later. I was blown away by my incisions and my results. I cried tears of joy after looking at myself in the mirror. My results were beyond my wildest dreams. Although I made a very informed decision to remove my implants I was still very nervous of how I might view my body. My implants were 550ccs and had been apart of me for such a long time. I highly recommend Avance for all your plastic surgery and med spa needs. 10/10 stars.

My saline implants were 16.5 year old and I have been contemplating removing them for a few years. I was mainly concerned about how I would look after. I had two consultations (I only trust 2 surgeons in town). I went went Dr. Dayan at AVANCE plastic surgery. I did my procedure under local anesthesia and I'm over the moon with my results!
