Very happy with my smaller and natural breast size

Dr. David Light and his support staff are wonderful! Before choosing Dr. Light, I researched plastic surgeons, went on many consultations and had quite a few professional recommendations because I worked at a medical spa. Making appointments is an easy process at NYBRA, as well as corresponding with patient coordinators and medical assistants. I found Dr. Light to be kind, professional and quite talented. He spent a lot of time answering all my questions during the initial consultation. I never felt rushed as we discussed surgery, sizing and realistic expectations. Dr. Light's experience in explant, lift and fat transfer, as well as his bedside manner, convinced me he was the right plastic surgeon for me. Due to my personal case, Dr. Light recommended a highly qualified breast surgeon to remove a benign breast lesion at the same time of the explant. His staff made correspondence and surgical coordination with the breast surgeon quick and easy. My surgery was ambulatory and without complications. Upon explant, Dr. Light found both my twelve year old silicone gel implants were ruptured. This was never picked up on annual or pre-surgical mammograms. I was home resting comfortably the night of surgery, never needed to take prescription pain medication, and had drains checked and removed within normal time frame. I was back to daily activity within a week of surgery. Nine months later and my lollipop scars are barely visible. At 53, I am relieved to be implant free and very happy with my smaller and natural breast size. I, like many, had a positive explant experience and would highly recommend Dr. David Light and the NYBRA team.
