In A League of His Own!

In a Class By Himself! I live in Orlando, and I researched plastic surgeons for a year before finding Dr. Law for my explant and breast lift. At 61, I was tired of implants, capsular contracture, and the deformity and pain that came with it. The many surgeons I interviewed didn’t seem excited about taking my case and certainly didn’t inspire confidence. Then I found Dr. Law. His reviews were consistently superior, and his before and after photos were beautiful. She was right. When I met Dr. Law in person I knew immediately he would do my surgery. First of all, HE did the evaluation, asked me lots of questions, and took all the measurements for revision. Not only was he enthusiastic about taking my case, he talked with me for an hour, learning about me, and answering all my questions. I felt thoroughly heard and respected. He explained that my surgery would require two stages, since my body likely had more than 20 years of scar tissue, inflammation, and compromised blood circulation from years of distorted implants. He would remove the implants and fortify my breast tissue in the first surgery, let my body heal for three months, then follow up with cosmetic surgery. I didn’t want two procedures, two recoveries, and two out-of-town trips, but I trusted him. Dr. Law even followed up with a handwritten letter upon my return home, validating my anxiety (who does that?) and reiterating the importance of ensuring my health. Sure enough, I felt immediately better after the first surgery (November), free of implants and scar tissue. When I returned to Raleigh two weeks later to discuss my options for my second surgery, Dr. Law suggested that a breast reduction—rather than implants—might fit my body and lifestyle best. The thought of no implants was liberating. Once again, I trusted him, and 12 weeks later (February) Dr. Law performed a reduction and auto-augmentation lift (repositioning my own breast tissue for fullness) on one breast and a reduction/lift on the other. He spent five hours making my breasts “match” and look naturally beautiful. They are the perfect size and shape, and I absolutely love them. And thanks to his surgical skill and technique I even have total sensation in both breasts. I can’t say enough about Dr. Law’s dedication, skill, artistry, and warmth. He and his staff (special shout-out to Tracy, his awesome nurse) made a potentially tense time for me downright pleasant and exciting. Both surgeries were virtually pain-free, with minimal scarring and easy recoveries. If I’d seen Dr. Law years ago, I wouldn’t have needed all the time and effort he put into repairing and rebuilding me. Call him. Meet him. You’ll feel instantly relaxed and ready to move forward. I’m so thankful I found Dr. Law. He’s absolutely the best.
