Implant Removal and Lift
I was recommended to Chris Porter in Christchurch by a surgeon in Melbourne as I needed to fix up the scarring around my implants and also to change to smaller implants. I went in thinking I wanted to change them for just “smaller implants” however I was advised by Chris Porter that for my own health I really needed to take them out all together.I appreciated his complete honesty and the fact he wasn’t willing to do a surgery that my body would most probably reject was a breath of fresh air. I had pretty bad scarring due to my first surgery (in Australia) and he said a main focus also was to clean that up and remove the scarring around the implant. It’s now 7 weeks post implant removal and lift and OMG they are like brand new boobs. Perky and perfect. The scarring is minimal and I genuinely question as to why I even got implants to start with. Chris is exceptional at what he does. He is direct, honest and clearing has an amazing hand and eye. If any one is potentially thinking about getting their implants removed then I suggest them to have a conversation with Chris. For any other future nip or tucks Chris will be on my speed dial list for sure :) Here are a few photos of before and after. Still a little swelling of course but we are on the mend x

I think you look fab, what an amazing job! Good luck in your recovery xx
Thanks lovely !
So glad there are finally surgeons who can admit that breast implants ARE HARMFUL. And you look gorgeous!
You look amazing! How many days were you at the hospital after surgery?
Just over night :) didn’t even need drains which was good but I respect everyone is different when it comes to drains etc.
Hey there fellow Kiwi and ex planter. I had mine taken out with a lift four weeks ago by Dr Marcus Bisson. I also went in with two options… a lift and replacement with a small implant or just explant and a lift. By the time I got to my appointment I’d pretty much decided that just a lift would be fine. He was ready to talk me out of implants if I had made that decision. For me it was the prospect of having to go through it all again when I was much older and this is a one and done now. It wasn’t a health thing for me currently. I too am thrilled with the results. You look fantastic!
So good !!! Yes just a lift sometimes is all that’s needed :) because they are so perky now they look like an implant anyway haha

And yes I am with you there, thinking I was going to forever have my implants too.
I think no matter what , what you are born with tends to suit your shape. Photos are deceiving, I’m actually quite tall and broad. Having implants actually made me all over look “bigger” so having them removed for me just looked so much more fitted to my shape xx let me know if you have any questions about any of it as I’m MORE than happy to share.
