5 Weeks Post Op

Hi beautifuls!
So, as promised, I am going to continue updating my progress and with pictures. First, I must tell you, the complaint I had of not being able to breath and hurting left nipple, on a constant basis are gone. I really relieved and happy about that! The second thing I'd like to report is the size of my breasts versus my new bra size. I have purchased a few bras, ranging from 38C to 36B. I'm happy to report that my true bra size now is a 36B. I will post pictures of me wearing that bra size on another post, in the near future. For now, I have posted pictures of bras and a sports bra, all size 38B. They do fit but the band swims around a bit with normal wear. My incisions are healing but slow. That area still hurts and certain movements I make like stretches makes the right one feel like it is tearing. It still has thick lumps underneath and my honey keeps telling me to not panic just yet and give it time as it really hasn't been that long. So, I'm sucking it up. Lol! I do have one more follow up with Dr. Bishop on May 3, due to the fact that I am still experiencing some pain at the incision sights. But they don't constantly hurt. Like I said, just when I stretch or reach for something in a certain way. I am very very happy with the outcome! In person, you would think I am a C cup because, they really are very "full". I am in school right now and can't wait for this semester to finish out, which is in about one week left! Yay! As soon as I am done with school, I plan on getting back to lifting weights and doing interval training. No more running for me. For two reasons: I have torn meniscus in both knees and that is how I lost my natural boobs from a C to an A, in the first place. I want to be healthy and fit and lean, but without losing my breast size. I hope everyone is doing well and if you just had yours removed, congratulations! You will heal and will feel at peace. Health wise, you will be 100 percent! Mine is. So, here's to being a Natural Woman! Hugs. =)

Dr. Bishop and his staff were all amazing!…

Dr. Bishop and his staff were all amazing! They were truly professional and attentative to their patients. I couldn't be more happy with my results and would definitely go back to Dr. Bishop again for other procedures that he offers.

Hi all! So, the procedure was not that easy…

Hi all! So, the procedure was not that easy for me. Unfortunately, I had pain from it for the first 3 days. Ugh! I'm healing well now, but my left nipple is still experiencing pain. All of the symptoms I had while I had the implants in, are all gone. Including the "I can't breath" episodes. I'm very happy with the results and excited to go bra shopping later this week! I was put into a sports bra right away and did not require being bandage around and I didn't need drains put in. Dr. Bishop was very attentive to my concerns and how I wanted the procedure to go. He told me that when he went in to remove the implant that he was bummed out to have to remove them because, they were still in like new shape, even though they were 10 years old! He also said that there was hardly any capsule over growth to remove so, when he extracted the implants, he drained them first and then pulled out the implant capsule. Which reminds me, before I had implants, one sat lower than the other, and was another reason why I decided to have implants. So, I wasn't allowed to take a shower for the first three days and didn't have a look at the girls until yesterday, when it was shower day. I was very excited and nervous all at once but, they looked just about even. I am definitely not complaining! I'm happy as a clam, actually! I decided to try on all the bras that I had in my closet and they were all too big. But, the way they were sitting in there, it felt like I'm a "C" cup right now. We shall see on bra shopping day. I also decided to try on a few of my medium and large tops that I couldn't fit into because, not only have I gained weight from this implant journey, but my big boobs did not help. Unless I wore a size XL or XXL size tops, then forget about it! Anywho, I tried them on and wouldn't you know it, they all fit, despite my weight gain. I cried y'all! Tears of joy, of course! I will keep posting picture updates and checking back on here from time to time, just in case any of you have a question for me. I wish all of you who are thinking about or are schedule to have implant removal, a pleasant and fast healing and happy journey! If they are making you uncomfortable, having health issues, making you feel frumpy and matronly, and want to get back in the gym the way you used to before, then I say, just do it! You'll be sooo glad that you did. For me and so many others, it's freeing and a confidence builder! Not to mention healthier! Hugs and love. =)
