I Am Fearfully and Wonderfully Created

After praying about some health issues that I was having, including a tightness in my chest that often felt like anxiety and made it difficult to take a good breath. God revealed the root of it being my implants, which I had for 15 years. Doing research two different friends referred me to Dr Dev. And from the first call to set up a consult, everything was so smooth and so easy. Dr Dev is compassionate. He was fully present and listened to my concerns and fears. Gently giving a response that made me know everything was gonna be okay. I knew having an explant was definitely the right decision. When surgery day came he was a calming presence. After being prepped and in the surgery room. He stood beside me, held my hand reassuring me that I was in good hands and I was gonna be okay. He made me feel seen as a person not just a number to check off the schedule. That’s the last I remember before the anastacia kicked in and off to dream land I went.

My post op nurse, (“Yay-Lee”) said the first thing I said when I woke up was “I can breath”
I am so thankful that God provided such amazing people to give me back my life.
