Removing 330cc (above the muscle) & getting lift

2 weeks post op

WORTH IT
Today marks two weeks since the procedure. Overall I feel great. My day to day is very normal in terms of activity level. I am not lifting super heavy objects and I avoid reaching where it can cause a stretch or strain on the stitches. I am really itchy! I guess that's the stitches healing which is good but it's like having annoying mosquito bites all over your breasts.
No regrets, super happy that I did this.
I'll post again when there are some significant changes to share.
Hope this has helped anyone contemplating the same or similar procedure. xo

Your story is very similar to mine! I’m considering implant removal and lift and hope to have it done soon. Thank you for sharing! I am curious if your symptoms - brain fog, etc have improved?
Hi, tomorrow will be 3 weeks since the explant. I haven't noticed anything specific with regards to symptoms (I mentioned in my story that I wasn't sure if it's BII related or not)...Time will tell. I do however just "feel better" overall. I have more energy, kind of have a pep in my step, feel lighter, my posture is better. Good luck!
Your results look fabulous! Have you done any kind of detox post explant? How are your breasts now compared to pre-implants?
Thank you so much. I am really happy. I have not done anything much different post explant. When I booked the appointment (roughly 3 months) I did start working out, walking a lot and healthier eating than what I was doing during the first half of covid. I've included pics pre explant so you can see the evolution of them. They were big and eventually they got saggy too. So far the lift is amazing. I know age and gravity are a real thing so I know it won't last forever but hoping that since they are smaller now and not carrying 330cc's in them - they will stay perky.
Yep looking beautiful!
Your result looks so great, definitely inspiring me to take the leap and explant! How are your scars healing? Have you noticed any other physical benefits from explanting? I sometimes wonder if I have BII, as the last few years I have experienced joint pain and lower energy. Thanks for sharing your story!
Did you have our capsules removed as well? Monday is 3 weeks for me.

Photos 1 week Post-Op.

These photos were at one week.
-Drains are out (came out 4 days post op)
-First time taking tape off and taking a full "normal" body shower
-Incision sights feel a little tender to the touch when applying scar gel treatment
-No actual pain
-Living and going about my day normally (not lifting anything heavy and avoiding reaching for stuff)
-Was told I can sleep a bit more on my side now but finding it more comfortable to still be on back with a lot of pillows on both sides of me so that my head can just tilt to the side.

The results:
There is some 'side boob' that I'm told will drop - we'll see.
The stiches in the photos are a bit much. The idea of stiching the areola back on kind of freaks me out but I found that looking at photos even my own is worse than it is in person.

Feel like I'm in my 20's

WOW, wow, just WOW.
Where to begin? I am 4 days post op and went in today to have my drains removed. Super lucky that I had so little fluid collected after day 1 that I was able to get them out so quickly. I didn't find them to be "as bad" as I had imagined that they would be, but they were still uncomfortable and I was thrilled to get them out today. Getting them out was also something I was terrified of. I'm one of those people that thought the worst part of giving birth was getting the IV put in. Anyway, maybe it was the nurse (Jessica who is lovely) but the removal was actually not as bad as my mind built it up to be either.
Over the drain sites, she just put a water proof bandage and I was told to leave those along with all the other tape/bandages for another 4 days at which point I can remove them and start my scar treatment.
She removed the extra padding and dressing and I finally got to peak down at my new breasts. I am thrilled! I got like 3 inches of my upper body back since they're not sagging on top of me anymore. I really wish I had just done the lift years ago vs. taking the long road and putting in the implants first. UGH. If I can give any advice it would be this: If you want to be bigger and you've done your research etc and you want to do augmentation - cool. If you're unhappy with loss of volume, or your shape etc - an implant won't fix that. Even if temporarily it's a bit of an improvement, it's very temporary. Saggy small breasts will just keep sagging especially once you put a big implant in there. I was unhappy with my loss of volume but at no point in time was unhappy with my size. I got implants and became very unhappy with my size and the improved shape didn't last that long. Anyway, I'm getting side tracked...
I've attached photos of how they look today and a 'before and after'...I can't believe the difference.

Wow. What a result! You look brilliant! You must be thrilled. X
Thank you...I really am and even more so relieved. This has been on my mind for about 3 years now so I'm just happy to have the implants behind me and healing beginning.
Wow! Your results are fantastic! I’m going to be having my 350cc implants removed and considering a lift too, now finding myself scouring the before and after pictures to prepare myself with what I’ll have left - gosh you must be delighted they look fabulous!
I feel like I've read every single explant and lift story on this site! LOL
Mine were 330CC (above the muscle) and you might have noticed that I was probably due for the lift when I went in for my original consult. It was the primary reason that I decided to do a lift now vs. just explant and see (figured if I am honest with myself, I probably wouldn't have been happy with just explant). I am taking my tape off in 2 days and will post pics again. At my first post-op I was told that they will drop a bit and should round out a bit - right now they have a little more tissue off to the side than I would ideally like to end up with. Shape is almost a bit "square" at this moment - she explained that it's because they want to push as much tissue up as possible to give some upper fullness. Anyway, good luck with your upcoming procedure! Hope my story helped.
Such awesome advice. I had my explant a year before you did and have never regretted it. I see so many posts on here of women gettin implants when all they really need is a lift. A good doctor would tell them the advantages of a lift. You look awesome. And I know you feel so much better! Congratulations!
