Brace yourself for the bruising of my breasts.
Explant with fat transfer
I explanted my 11 year-old saline over the muscle implants on August 13, 2018 with Dr. Mitchell Brown in Toronto, ON, Canada. My history with implants was that I got them done by Dr. Ronald Levine in 2008, and enjoyed them for some time. They looked great and served their purpose as I bartended in night clubs then. I should have listened to my body when my first capsular contracture of the right breast happened in 2010, and than the left in 2012, and than my right implant ruptured in 2014. My body had been fighting them since I put them in. Was always told this is normal, but let’s be real it isn’t. Listen to your body when it warns you. I became very sick and had been trying to rid myself of so many BII symptoms. I had enough in 2017, and started looking into BII and my health. I have spent tens of thousands on private integrative medicine techniques and supplements to help detox my body. I am no where close to being at my healthiest but as of Monday August 13, I am when I took these out.
Dr. Brown was the fourth doctor I saw in Toronto to do this procedure bc I knew my implants would leave me with a gaping hole or sagging skin. So i decided to do a fat transfer procedure along w the explant.
I am on day 5 and am very sore but have no bruising on my stomach, but have a ton of bruising on my breasts. The compression garments for my stomach are working, that’s why there is no bruising. My breasts are another story. They are covered and severely a hue of green/yellow. I have low iron and was once severely anemic. I’m just happy the implants are out and most of my breast tissue has been saved. I will post pics of the after once the bruising goes down. The before have my dimensions and now I have about 180 cc of fat in each breast. Go and see Dr Brown if you want to explant and do a moderate fat transfer to help filling in the gaps. He truly is a master of his practice, and just a realist at the same time.

Provider Review
Bedside manner is remarkable. He came in to see me after my surgery to tell me how everything went. He even called the next day. His nurse Stephanie will answer all your questions (I had so many) and she removed my bandages and went over after care with me today (day 5 post op). Pro tip: Ask to be on the cancellation list as his consultation appointments are like 6 month waiting (but he is so worth the wait). I know my breasts will change from day to day but so far I’m happy with what they look like.
