Awful
I was so horrified by the way I looked after the surgery that I scheduled appointments to ask what could be done to help improve my appearance. Yet, every time I went to an appointment, they would send a nurse or an office worker in to see me and tell me that the appearance would improve. At the fourth appointment I had scheduled, I insisted on seeing Dr Lawton. He came into the room and quickly told me that I would need to wait and give some thought as to whether I really wanted to do anything to change the sickening way that he’d left me looking. He was condescending and short with me.
Since then, I have had consults with three other foctors, two of who suggested that I might have breast cancer because they could easily see and feel the hard ridge where the capsule was that Dr Lawton had left in my left side. Recently though, I did go and have a mammogram as well as some other diagnostic tests done. There’s no cancer, just a big piece of scar tissue that Dr Lawton left inside me. That was a very expensive screw up. I would not recommend Dr Lawton if you want your surgery done well and correctly.

This is one of the possible cosmetic outcomes from en bloc capsulectomy with implant removal. It should improve with time. Removing the capsule results in the formation of scar in the entire space where the capsule once was. The hard ridge is the indentation on your rib cage left by the long-standing pressure on your ribs from the implants. Only licensed registered nurses see patients, not the non-clinical office staff.
