A few months out and they’re still tightening up!

Just a quick update from about 3.5 months post-explant! They look great. They’re still firming up noticeably, as expected. One of my nipples that lost sensation after the first surgery has gotten more feeling and is more responsive. Overall I am so so pleased I did it.

4 weeks out!!
So I’m 4 weeks (28 days) out! I had a (final!) follow-up with Dr. Prada yesterday. He said that they looked great and had healed as expected. We agreed that they were a nice little size for my frame, even if the implants had looked lovely too. Dr. Prada gave me the all clear to resume any activities as I see fit. He confirmed his original statement that I didn’t (and likely wouldn’t) need a lift. He also told me that he really hadn’t done anything but pop the implants out quickly and sew me back up, but I disagreed. He did a hell of a lot more than that. Having him be involved in the post-op, LISTEN to me pre-op, and actually seem to care was so vital to me. Such a nice man. It was also a real, real pleasure to deal with his office and his lovely and qualified staff. Thank you, Dr. Prada. I know I wasn’t one of the more fun or interesting or money-making cases, but you treated me wonderfully regardless.

I would suggest you check out the subreddit r/abrathatfits. I have what would be considered small breasts, and I did before as well.

I didn't have my capsules removed. My implants were intact so he just removed them, washed out the pockets, and closed me up.

280ish I believe! Moderate profile silicone. They were small implants
Thank you so much for sharing your journey in such detail, it was so encouraging and informative! I'm a scheduled to get mine out on the 11th and am mostly excited but definitely nervous.
I was terrified and I think that's totally normal! It's an intimidating experience to get them out and now really know what your body will look like afterwards. I practice unconditional self-acceptance and that certainly helps, but I still slip sometimes.
Ultimately, I was so happy to just have them out of my body that I would have been content with any outcome. I am so much more comfortable, freer, and MY CLOTHES FIT!

I had my implants removed 6 days ago and have empty socks and wrinkly skin. Your photos have given me so much hope. You look absolutely AMAZING xx
They should plump up a little. If not you can always get a lift. I did an ex plant with a lift right away bc I knew I would not like the end result.
