Dr. Prada Filled Me with Confidence and I'm really looking forward to my procedure

So far I have only been in to see him for the consultation, but that time alone was enough for me to be impressed. I have scheduled and am looking at a date of July 15, 2020.
I have breast implants from another surgeon. There is nothing wrong with them. The original surgeon did a spectacular job, but they just aren’t who I am anymore. I want them out of my body ASAP!
Dr. Prada spent a lot of face to face time with me answering all of my questions and laying out the options for having them removed. We talked local versus twilight anesthesia, realistic expectations for how they will look afterwards, and the potential of having one nipples raise to match the other (although I am not sure on doing this, I like my nipples scar-free).
I felt safe and confident in meeting him and am really looking forward to my procedure.

This is how I felt about my implants. They still looked good and the surgeon had done a great job. This made it so hard for me to decide to remove them. But my reasons for explanting were so important to me. Now, 10 days post op I am so happy I had them removed.

I can’t believe you’re only 10 days post op!! Your breast look immaculate! I’m so glad to hear from someone else that they are happy with their decision to explant. I am nervous, but excited.

Why do you want them out? I wanna get them

They just aren’t a good representation of who I am anymore. If you feel that they will enhance you, and that psychologically you will feel confident and comfortable with your new body, then go for it. I have family members who have had them for years with 0 plans on removal.

Why was your size before and after as well as implant style and volume? Prior surgeon ?

Before I was a 28D and after 28I. 285cc moderate profile. Surgeon is one out of AL, Pat Budny.

No wonder but you had such perfect results: you had breast tissue. You have such perfect proportionate breasts! But I respect your opinion. Good luck!

You may want to check out the subreddit r/abrathatfits to better understand cup sizes. A D does not actually indicate a lot of breast tissue. It’s just an alphabetical representation of the ratio of bust to underbust measurements. Even your plastic surgeon will likely not understand bra sizes, cup sizes, and what they actually mean. I had small, modestly sized breasts before the procedure.

May I ask who your surgeon was? You're implants look amazing, so natural

Thank you. Pat Budny out of Montgomery, AL. He does great natural work.

Pre-Op Completed

I had my pre-operative appointment with Carol at Dr. Prada’s office on Tuesday. We discussed post-operative appointments and post-operative care, as well as what to expect day of surgery and afterwards. She also gave me my prescriptions and both pre- and post-operative instructions. I have a lot of allergies that she reviewed with me in order to verify that the medications they had prescribed would be okay for me. I felt confident talking with her. The day before my appointment (Monday) they called and asked for the remainder of the surgeon’s fee to be paid. I opted to get cashier’s checks for the fees related to anesthesia and the surgical center, as they’re just easier. Surgery is still a go for July 15 (next Wednesday) at the butt crack of dawn. Tomorrow at 1pm I have a drive through Covid test at the surgical center where they are performing my procedure, so that is interesting and certainly something new for surgeries for me (and everyone)!

Drive-Thru Covid Testing Complete

NewToTheLou
On Friday I drove thru the South County Surgical Center Covid testing area and got the nasal swab for my pre-operative test. Afterwards, they recommend that you maintain 6 feet social distancing and limit all contact with other people not directly within your household (obviously!). I got the negative test results back yesterday, so all good to go! I did feel comfortable with their process and I felt like I had minimal exposure during the test itself. I stayed in my vehicle and their staff were wearing masks and gloves.
