Dr. Heistein is Amazing!

I had breast implant removal and a lift on September 1 with Dr. Heistein, and truly could not be happier! At only 16 days post op, I am thrilled with the results! My breasts truly look better than they did pre-implants. They are a perfect size and position for my body and more importantly, I’m no longer in pain. My implants were only 3 years old, textured, and placed subfascially over the muscle. My previous surgeon and I decided on that placement to initially avoid a lift and muscle distortion during exercise as I’m a fitness instructor. While they looked fine, with nothing but my skin to support them, they were incredibly heavy and caused severe shoulder and neck pain that lead to excruciating cervicogenic headaches. I had also developed capsular contracture in both breasts that was also painful.
Dr. Heistein and his nurse Kelly, were so patient and kind during my consultation. He explained all of my options, and answered all of my options. I think he sensed my trepidation, and finally asked if I even liked having breast implants. This is what did it for me, it was like he read my mind! I confirmed that I didn’t and he proceeded to reassure me of how happy I’d be with the results. He never tried to sell me on an implant exchange or repositioning to under the muscle.
I didn’t take pictures immediately after the surgery, but will try to post some at 1, 3 and 6 months post op.
