I dodged a bullet and found a great doctor!

I found Dr.Gartner after meeting with another "plastic surgeon" who I found out that was not good news at the very last minute. I almost had a procedure to remove my breast implants under local anesthesia with a doctor who was not board certified and who told me that I would be unhappy with the look of my breasts after implant removal, and that I would probably want to get a breast lift or different implants after. He also said that he could deflate the implants while they were still in there so I could make a decision, with him knowing they would not look so great right away. There were so many things wrong with this approach. I left that consultation feeling really bad. I then found out about that surgeons credentials, or lack there of, and sexual misconduct in the past. Thank goodness I found Doctor Gartner, who had a whole different approach to what my breasts would be like after removing the implants. He told me that they would most likely go hack to normal over time, a short period at that. He knew what he was talking about and I felt very comfortable going through this procedure. Although the procedure itself is not necessarily for people who are overly anxious or squeamish, it is totally possible to get through and way more worth it that going under general anesthesia. The staff were all very friendly and the procedure was relatively quick. I am so lucky to have found this doctor!
