Life Saving Surgery!

Had my explant surgery and now I’m 10 days post op. Let me tell you, this was the best decision I could’ve made.
A year and a half ago is when my implant issues started. Fluid swelled my left breast, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath, anxiety, and more. After countless doctor and ER visits, hormone testing, mold testing, MRIs, ultrasounds, even CT scans all doctors could tell me was that there are some issues but I was still healthy. I didn’t believe it and intuitively knew that the fluid in my breast could come back and end up as cancer next time. I could not let that happen so I began my research on explant surgery. I decided to go with Dr. Khan because he believes that implants cause health issues and does everything in his power to get you back to optimal health which includes removing the capsule, YES the capsule! (PS pathology testing came back with some iffy stuff so without the capsule being removed I wouldn’t have the knowledge to get an oncology evaluation. Potentially life saving! Wouldn’t you want that peace of mind?)
Not only am I feeling better, my breasts look even better than they did before and he did NOT need to perform a lift! My breasts are perkier than they were pre augmentation and my areolas are way smaller. Crazy right? Do not spend extra money on a doctor that will cut you up even more.
His team is great and shout out to nurse Caitlyn for being so kind, responsive, and taking great care of me.
