How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

12 Week Update
I am starting to see good results from the silicone sheets on my scars. At first I thought I was making my incision scars worse because every time I peeled the sheets off, my scars were red. The Dr told me that's just blood cells helping it heal :). I've added Bio Oil into my routine now too. Silicone sheets in the day (while at work) and Bio Oil at night. I still get weird "electric" shock feelings once in awhile, and if I'm super busy during the day I get "achy" boobs at night. I've noticed a reduction in allergic reactions to foods and chemicals. And I definitely do not feel as puffy and bloated as before surgery. I feel like my health has improved immensely. The only down side right now is that my memory seems to be off- like forgetting things and words more frequently. Could be a side effect from anesthesia, only time will tell.
5 Week Update
Started using silicone sheets this week. Will use Mederma after two weeks. I wanted to post mostly about my recovery because I only found a couple of reviews with that information regarding this type of surgery. I'm still wearing my cotton surgery bras 24/7, and my Spanx type girdle during the day. I'm finally driving again and using the foam inserts from lipo part of surgery (which I placed inside a pillow case) to protect my boobs from the safety belt. It totally works!! Will see my Dr in two weeks :)
5 weeks update
This week I started using Mederma the first 3 days of the week, but then decided to use the silicone sheets instead. The sheets last a few weeks, so then I'll use the Mederma again. I've continued to wear the cotton bra from surgery 24/7 and I'm wearing a girdle during the day. I'm primarily focused on writing about the recovery because I didn't find that many current reviews of others that had this surgery, and only a couple that write about the recovery part. Everyone recovers differently, so I'm adding a picture to show where I'm at currently.
