Where to begin. It’s been a long long journey with my breasts. I had my first augmentation in 2015 and initially love them. But after 5 years I thought they were a little saggy and didn’t like my puffy areolas so I decided to have what I thought was a mini “donut lift”. Do your research ladies!! Biggest regret of my life was getting that donut lift. Little did I know it would be a long 2 years of trying to heal scars, pain, and bouts of depression. Pretty much after one month the areolas started to spread, the right sided permanent suture broke and I was in constant pain. I knew I would need another Sugery. I waiting 8 months and went with a different surgeon to have a second donut lift. Again another huge mistake. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. That second surgeon should have never done that procedure again. But he did and I had a second donut lift. As soon as they took dressings off after surgery I could see they were still huge and totally different sizes. I was devastated. It would be another long road of heeling. Even almost a year post The scarring was still wide and thick and very painful especially on the right side. Not only did I have pain I started to experience symptoms that after much research I linked to breast implant illness. I knew I would need another surgery to fix my areolas but I wanted it to be my last. So I made the decision to have my implants removed and get a lift and never have to deal with boob troubles again. After joining some online groups and much research on real self I found dr. Dev. I read so many positive reviews and after a phone consultation I knew he was the surgeon for me. I am 2 weeks post op and heeling well. I will continue to share my progress as i recover.

Currently 2 weeks post op. Pain is better. Still wearing compressing bandage at night and underwire bra during the day to help with shaping. Will continue to do tape therapy for 3 months since I don’t scar well.

Spoke with my doctor last week and sent in some photos. He said I’m heeling well but there is some skin that my implant stretched out that I will have to tape for up to 6 weeks to help the skin adhere back to the chest wall. I’m feeling so much better without my implants, the pain I was having is gone. Breasts still look a little scary without tape on them but I know it’s gonna take time for Incisions to heal. One areola seems larger than the other but I know it’s early and I’m trying not to obsess over it.
