Finally booking my en bloc explant!
I haven't posted for ages as everything was on ice due to the pandemic, but I'm finally booking my surgery for Sunday 24th October - nervous but excited! I'm really worried that I won't like my post-explant body but I hate how my implants look and feel now, so it's got to be better than this! My implants are so bottomed out with big dents and ripples in them, it's been 20 years now and they bottomed out after literally one year so I've never been over the moon with them! I just hope my breasts aren't too saggy afterwards, Mr Sterne hasn't recommended a lift so I guess I'll need to give them time to settle and then maybe in the future I can have a lift if I need it... I will post pics before and after the surgery, I need to get organised!
Hello again - update!
So I've not been on here for a while as I wasn't able to move forward with my explant last year, I had to force myself to be patient! But I'm excited to be on the journey again now, I've got a consultation with Guy Sterne in Birmingham next month and if all goes well in the consultation I want to proceed asap. It's been 19 years since I went under the knife at Transform, I can't wait to look like nature intended again! My husband and I are hoping to have another baby in the not too distant future so I wanted to get my explant done asap so they have the recommended time to settle before we try for no.2, I don't really know about that side of things regarding pregnancy following explant, so I'll be asking Guy Sterne's advice. Have any of you ladies on here had a baby after explanting?
Great to be back on here, looking forward to following other's stories again, I've found it so helpful and inspiring! x

Decided to have them removed en bloc... consultations booked :)
So I've decided that I definitely want to have a capsulectomy. Have booked consultations for next month with Oliver Harley in Sussex (quote is just over £3K), and Guy Sterne in Birmingham (quote is just over £4K). Both remove the capsules. Will update after my consultations, hopefully I'll decide and get the surgery booked by the end of March!
