Overdue Update
WORTH IT
I had my appointment to check on how my right was healing after removal the beginning of November. Dr Magge said everything looked fantastic and we could plan for re-insertion in December and commit to a date before leaving the office that day.
He and his entire team; my patient coordinator, the receptionists, head of surgery were all fantastic and really went above and beyond for me. They took care of everything just like they said they would.
The lifted right side did not look bad at all! I’m happy I got the implant back in though!
Picture upload not working at this time.

Last Weekly Check.
I had my two week post op from the right implant removal today. Everything has healed perfectly. My incisions healed/closed a lot faster this time vs the augmentation/lift. Recovery was also shorter. I started feeling better after 5dpo. I’m still taking it easy and slowly getting back to routine.
My PS wants me to start massaging the scar tissue next week, hoping to soften it up. My next appointment is in October- 4 months PO to see where I am with the scar tissue and set a date for the right implant replacement.
My let is still perfection. I’m using scar silicone sheets and a Mederma roller on the scars.
I’ll update with topless pictures later of my mismatched boobs. What’s funny is that I don’t try to hide the size difference in every day life.. I jut let them be. However, date nights... I’m going to have to figure something out to even then. My husband does not mind at all and has been a great support system through it all even if I am self conscious.

Weight loss
I got on the scale for the first time since removal yesterday. On 05-01, I weighed 117 lbs pre-op then I weighed myself 05-18 post-op and was 120lbs. Last night, the scale said 110 lbs.
I’ve barely been able to eat the last week, since last Saturday. I almost vomited up my first two meals while eating after removal. I’ve been eating small meals frequently during the day so I can keep food down. I’ve kept my water in take up. Today has been the first day I haven’t felt nausea after eating so I managed to get down 2 corn dogs haha
I haven’t looked at my incisions from right explant again since the first time but I changed the bandages and there was only blood in the spot where my drain tube is coming out so that’s a good sign. I’ll look tonight when I can hopefully shower. I haven’t attempted showering again since the first time. My husband has been away the last few days for drill and I’d rather he be home in case I do pass out.
I’m moving around better today. I have more energy. I don’t have any pain aside from my tube burning randomly. Even though I want to move, I’m feeling pretty weak. My willpower and need to clean power is strong and my mind is active however my body just can’t keep up yet. I’m taking frequent rests after doing something strenuous (relative to my current condition). I’m still not lifting anything more than a book.
My post-op appointment is on Tuesday. I will get this drain out. Thank goodness. I’m just waiting until then..
