Final results + advice for complications

So officially you have to wait 6 months for the final results to be visible (so take this with a grain of salt), but they literally haven't changed in months and seem fully healed. So im posting the final results early! Ill write about the complication first and tell about the results after that.

First I'll give you an update on the complication. My surgeon was right and it did not make a difference to the results as far as I can see. The wound ended up being open and leaking for 10 days until it finally formed a scab. Those 10 days were horrible though, I needed to clean the bandages every 1-2 hours. I am naturally a very stressed out person, so the constant worrying was not that good for me. On top of that I could barely sleepy, because every time I felt a sensation around the area I was scared it had started to leak again.

Advice for anyone experiencing the same thing (Ask your doctor though, I am not a medial professional):
- Watch out for signs of infection! Mine did not get infected but I was very watchful and cleaned it well. Google signs of infection so you know what to look out for (fever, red skin around wound, etc.). My surgeon was able to give me antibiotics just in case it did get infected. Because infection will influence your results for sure, be sure to be aware of signs and be ready to start treatment right away if necessary.
-Get proper supplies to keep it clean. Make sure you have wound dressings and a way to disinfect, I used band aids, dressings/gauze, tape to fix the gauze on my skin, disinfectant spray for wounds and betadine. Avoid touching it directly and only make contact with things that are disinfected. My surgeon recommended me to fix a pad onto my skin if I did not have anything else, which yes if you have no other sanitary option is fine, but i would not recommend it since pads are pretty hard and sturdy compared to gauze and will chafe again the wound. If you need to go out, make sure that underneath your clothes its patched up well, both to prevent stuff from getting in and chafing but also to keep your clothes clean. Do make sure its not bandaged too tightly: The stuff needs to get out and since theres no platelets to close your wounds, that would just delay healing I think.
-Dont force fat to come out. Theres a big chance healthy non-necrotic cells will be pushed out if you do this. Just let it leak out.
-Get something your wound get leak on when sleeping. My wound was near the side of my rib cage, so when it started to leak at night, it would get onto my bedsheets. To prevent having to change your sheets every day, sleep on a towel or other sheet you have to catch discharge.
-Keep in mind that it won't influence your results. Even if your wound was closed, fat necrosis still happens and your body would just clean it up. Unless you get an infection, because then a lot more fat cells will die.
-Keep track of changes. It is important to communicate what is happening to your surgeon, so they know how you are doing and how to help. Aside from infection symptoms, I kept track of the trajectory of the leaking as well. I will give a quick summary of what I noticed: First days were mostly fat cells coming out which looked like pus (white, tough, chunky), the few days there was less of that and more oil coming out (yellow oil, exactly like olive oil).
-Feel free to reach out for questions! I will keep my account active in case anyone needs support with the same problem. I reached out to numerous people myself, but was sad to see no one responded. I want people who are stressed about this to have someone to talk to, so dont hesitate to reach out!

With that out of the way, lets talk about my results. I think my breasts look amazing. From a lipofilling/mini-boobjob this was exactly what I expected: I went from almost nothing to an A cup! I attached some pictures of me in a bra, that one is a 75 A cup (EU size). They feel soft and dont have any lumps or hard spots in them when i squeeze. I will need to get used to the feeling of something bouncing on my chest when I run on jump now, but I guess thats exactly what I asked for hahaha. I am not sure what percent of fat stayed, but when I look at the comparison collages I made, I feel like its at least 70 (if not more). I am very happy with the results!
My thighs and flanks have fully healed as well. I have not attached pictures as there is not much to see. Don't go into lipofilling thinking its a boobjob and liposuction in 1, because the actual liposuction is very minimal (500ml spread out over thighs and flanks is not a lot). That is coming from someone with an average weight (160cm, 53kg), maybe smaller or bigger ladies will beg to differ? Anyways my thighs and flanks are soft again and there are no irregularities or weird cavities, they look the same as before the surgery.

Complication :(

Trigger warning for those who are sensitive to wounds. I will describe details and show pictures in this post.

So last thursday ( 3 weeks and 2 days post ) one of the scars under my breasts began to swell. It almost looked like a pimple and it came out of nowhere, so I immediately contacted my clinic. They said it was most likely one of the sutures maybe not dissolving completely and my body trying to push it out. This wasn't the case unfortunately.

The night of the same day I woke up from a wet sensation, seeing the "pimple" had burst and was leaking gunk everywhere. What I initially thought to be puss, turned out to be fat particles. That's what they said when I got it checked that day. It's normal during the healing process that not all of the cells make it (only about 50-70%). When fat cells die, you call it fat necrosis and your body slowly cleans up the dying cells. This happened to be near to one of my sutures. Pressure has built up from the fluids and it burst. It was not infected however. I am supposed to keep on lookout for signs of infection tho: Redness around the wound, if the gunk starts to smell bad, fever, etc. (not the case thus far)

It is now tuesday the next week, and the last few days have been incredibly uncomfortable. I patch up the wound and best as I can, but after a few hours it always starts leaking through and I van start over. The stuff that comes out is mostly fluid - a mixture of oil (product of when fatcells are broken down) and wound fluids. There's also chunks of white that almost have a cheese-like texture. I was told these are fatcells. I should avoid pushing the stuff out as I may accidentally push out the "good" fat cells. It is very uncanny that almost no blood comes out. I think it is also the reason that for the last few days, the wound has been completely open and no scab is able to form.

As for the result of the surgery, my surgeon said this should not make much of a difference. I don't spot a difference if I look at previous pictures, even though I feel like I'm losing at least a few teaspoons of stuff a day. If the stuff would not have a place to escape from like the wound I have, my body would clean it up from inside anyways, so it's just taking a different route. Therefore, it's not really a problem that this is happening - it's just uncomfortable and very scary.

Hoping it will stop leaking soon. On a good note, my thighs and flanks are not bruised anymore and not painful. When i press the skin, it does feel very hard underneath so I think it is still healing.

Update 8 days post

Wanted to write this yesterday but i forgot oops, anyways here's a short 8 days post update!

Everything is looking pretty well. As you can see from the comparison picture there hasnt been any volume loss yet (not that i can see anyways). Luckily the visible bruising and swelling has gone done. They are still very sensitive and still feel very firm but im trying not to touch them too much.

I checked the back of my thighs yesterday and was a bit surprised to find most of the bruising was on that side. I included a picture as well. The redness and yellowness of the bruising has gone down a little bit and I am able to walk while standing straight as well now. Before this was a bit hard because my legs were so sore. My flanks are doing great and have no visible signs of any surgery honestly.

As a final remark I wanted to say i really like how my breasts still have their character. One is "looking down" a little bit and I love that thats still the case.

Next tuesday I will get the sutures removed, so I will probably update again then. Thank you for reading!
