Multiple Large Cysts and Contour Deformities After Fat Transfer. Breasts Look Amazing Though
WORTH IT
I wrote a review for Dr Orman last year which was positive. I went back for a second round of breast fat transfer, and my results this time have been a bit more complicated.
On the plus side, my breasts look amazing, and I like what he did with the lipo in my calves. However, many of the other lipo sites (my right inner thigh, the top of my right thigh near the knee, and my lower back) all have countour deformities. He definitely took too much fat from those areas.
I noticed the issue with my lower back first, and his assistant acknowledged that she saw the issue. When she talked to Dr. Orman and reported back to me, I was brushed aside and told it looked good, even though the area clearly does not have a smooth line anymore. Then when I later noticed the issue with my thigh, I contacted them again and did not receive a response.
On top of that, 3 months post op I noticed a lump in my breast. I contacted Dr Orman’s office about it to figure out what I should do, but once again recieved no response. I went to the doctor, and ultrasounds determined that I have several large cysts in both breasts as a result of the surgeries. From now on I need to go back every six months for monitoring, and if they get bigger they will have to be drained.
I’m giving 3 stars, because although the issues with the lipo have given me new insecurities, I still feel more confident now with my new breasts than I did before the surgeries. Apparently the cysts are not likely to cause me any serious issues, but only time will tell.
Therefore, I do not regret the surgery, but I am disappointed with some of the results from the lipo, and with the lack of communication post-op.
