3+ month update!
So I promised to come back and do an update so here I am... better late than never! I am pleased to report that there's nothing really to update on! I think I have held on to the fat pretty well. Everything has definitely settled into a much more natural shape and I've lost a bit of volume on the upper poles but it all still looks fantastic!

Best Thing I've Ever Done! 270ml Breast Fat Transfer, Age 30, "Virgin" Boobs.
Thought I'd share my story with this procedure in order to help others as there's not a lot of reviews from the UK.
For the longest time I have struggled with my "apple" shaped body. Despite having always been slim, I always felt wide and boxy due to storing any excess fat around my middle, even at my lowest body fat/weight. I envied women who were genetically gifted tiny waists that curve nicely into wide hips, i.e that hourglass figure we all aspire to. For years I was determined I could "fix" the issue with work in the gym, growing my lower body in order to give the illusion of wider hips/smaller waist. But if anything, the fitter I got, the more boyish I looked due to losing fat from everywhere else like my boobs and bum, which just made my middle look bigger! I started to get frustrated because despite being happy with the progress I was making elsewhere (hello quads!), the stubborn fat on my stomach and love handles was letting my physique down. I realised that I’m just not genetically gifted with the way my fat is distributed, and grew to accept that if I wanted my dream body, I’d have to resort to other means.
I had obviously known about liposuction for years, but in my research I came across lipofilling - moving fat from one area to another. It sounded like it was too good to be true. I was never really unhappy with my boobs (I was blessed with good shape and perkiness!) but I figured if I was going to get liposuction I may as well not waste the fat. After trawling endless reviews and before/afters, the procedure seemed legit and I booked a consultation. I initially met with with a local surgeon who told me I didn’t have enough fat and said they didn’t think the cost would be worth it. Feeling disheartened, I came across Dr Riaz Agha in Harley Street, London and thought I’d at least get a second opinion. First impressions were that Riaz is someone who isn’t just doing this as a job, he is actually passionate and treats it like an art. He straight away noticed areas where I did indeed have enough fat stores and explained the sort of results I could expect. He told me about 360 VASER liposuction which is less invasive and has a skin tightening effect so I went with that. It all seemed very positive, so I paid there and then and got booked in!
I arrived at the hospital first thing on the day of surgery and was settled into a nice room, it was all very posh and all the nurses were extremely friendly and re-assuring. I’m quite a matter-of-fact person so wasn’t particularly nervous or anything. Riaz came and drew on me the areas where he would make incisions and take the fat from. I emphasised I wanted my weird bulgy love handles gone forever and he understood! Before I knew it I was in the operating room with the anaesthetist who put a cannula in my hand and started asking me to imagine a holiday... I don’t remember anything after that, it was like I time travelled. When I woke up I felt a bit shivery and dazed but apart from that it was fine! I didn’t feel much pain. Dr Riaz came to tell me he managed to get out a litre of fat, and transferred 270mls into each breast. When I looked in the mirror for the first time I was shocked! Even through the swelling and compression garment I could see that for the first time in my life I had a curved waist and actual, defined hips. I was so happy, I even had a bit of a cry in the bathroom at the hospital.
I couldn’t stop smiling on the way home, for the first time I felt feminine and more womanly as stupid as that sounds. And my boobs were just the cherry on top! It was a very bizarre sensation suddenly having all this weight on my chest.
Anyway, the next few days were a bit of a struggle but not horrendous, it was mainly getting up out of bed/off the sofa that was hard as I couldn’t use my core so needed assistance. It’s been just over two weeks and so far so good. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I have also been keeping a log of things so I’ll post that below and hope to update as time goes on :).
Before
Height
- 5ft3
Weight
- 57kgs
Bra size
- 32C but lacking volume
Measurements:
- 30” under bust
- 35” bust
- 26” waist
- 35” hips
Day after op
Mostly swelling in liposuction areas and boobs felt hard and massive! Light yellow bruising to upper poles.
- 31” under bust
- 37” bust
- 29” waist
- 36” glutes
Day 3
Think this was the worst day for pain! Lipo sites quite sore, had to take the stronger pain meds at night as my back would hurt and wake me up.
Days 4 - 7
Things getting easier by the day, trying to be as mobile as possible. I have been eating a lot and staying hydrated. Swelling mostly gone on boobs and starting to soften up. Was meant to do post-op appointment on day 7 but train strikes got in the way so Riaz advised me via email to change my dressings. All seemed to be healing very well. The incisions are so small I was surprised you can barely notice them.
Days 7 - 10
Lipo swelling going down pretty quickly! I look surprisingly normal. Finally had my in-person check up which went well, all looking good :D. Now just to try and keep as much fat as possible…
Days 10 - now
No real change in volume to my boobs yet I don't think... According to measurements they’re actually projected more by an inch but I have put on weight as been pigging out. My current stats as of today (23/05/23) are:
Weight
- 60kgs (but I don’t look it! Previously I’d have looked so podgy and have a proper belly at this weight! But think it’s all on my bum/boobs atm)
Measurements
- 30” under bust
- 38” bust
- 28” waist (still residual swelling)
- 38” glutes
I currently fit perfectly into a 32DD non-underwired t-shirt bra which is crazy to me especially as I have a very petite frame, they seem huge... not complaining. Lets hope I don't lose much more... To be continued!
