Three Years Later – Disappointed with Results and Follow-Up Experience

$6,000
It’s been three years since my breast augmentation with Dr. Altman, and while I found him personally to be kind and professional during our brief initial consultation, I’m ultimately disappointed with both my surgical results and the follow-up care I received.
At my consult, we quickly decided on 385cc under the muscle based on photos I brought in, which included results he posted from his own social media page. The appointment was very quick, and while I felt okay proceeding at the time, I now wish there had been more time spent discussing potential outcomes or complications. One of the first red flags was that my date of birth was incorrectly entered into the system, making me appear 10 years older. I asked for it to be corrected multiple times, but it was never fixed, even after they moved offices. Each time I called, no one could locate me in their system because of this error, which became frustrating and concerning.
A year after surgery, I made a follow-up appointment to address a clear double bubble deformity and the fact that my implants sit much farther apart than I had hoped for. I took off work and drove 1.5 hours to the appointment, only to be told upon arrival that Dr. Altman had to go into surgery and couldn’t see me. While I understand emergencies happen, I was offered no real resolution besides an apology. I asked for a virtual follow-up, which I hoped would give me a chance to finally express my concerns, but even then I felt the opportunity for meaningful follow-up had passed.
The most disappointing part is that I’ve been left with results I’m unhappy with and no real path toward correction or support. I genuinely think Dr. Altman is a kind physician, but I wish the process had been more thorough from the beginning and that post-op concerns had been taken more seriously
