4 Months Post-Op!!!!
WORTH IT$8,500
Alright... enough is enough.
I swore I wasn't going to be one of those ladies who stopped updating after surgery- but it's happened. Today is the day I'm changing that.
I am now a few days passed 4 months post op. I can honestly say that I haven't felt more confident in my entire life. Before surgery, I felt like I was keeping a secret from everyone- I felt like I was unworthy of any sort of praise since I had deformed breasts and I would never be womanly or beautiful. (Not that that's the only measure of what a woman is, but hopefully you understand where I'm coming from.) I'm now really starting to feel TRULY comfortable in my own body, a feeling I never thought I'd get.
There are really no restrictions on what I can do at all - I sleep on my tummy every night, ride roller coasters, run, lift heavy objects, and more. Although my surgeon said the most important time to apply scar cream is within 12 weeks after surgery, I'm still using Derma E once a day. I'm really happy with the nice round incision scars and am really looking forward to seeing what they look like after fully healing.
As for bras, I am a size 32 DD (I know I mentioned it before but once again I got 350 ccs.) My PS said to wear the right bra for the right things. This means wear a sports bra when working out at the gym or lifting heavy things, wear a casual professional bra when at work or at school, and wear a push up bra (although I'm more of an unlined unpadded kinda lady) when wearing a sexy dress that I want to show off my cleavage in. Honestly, I go braless most of the time which my PS said is perfectly okay too! :D
I left a review of my surgeon a little while back. If you're in the South Jersey area and are considering breast augmentation- please schedule a consult with Dr. Vasisht. He is really as down to earth and understanding as it gets. I could not have picked a better PS.
Thank you anyone who reads this- I wish you luck with your surgical endeavors and hope this helped, even if only a little bit. I'll post updated pictures the next time I notice any changes or just feel like showing off a bit! Hahaha. Xoxo
