I underwent breast augmentation surgery at Nana recently. It’s now slightly over 2 weeks, and I am glad to write an honest review. Let’s start.
After doing extensive research, I chose Nana and contacted them via WhatsApp, with their English team. One of the consultants Jasmine contacted me and gave detailed explanations about the procedure after I sent my original breast photos. They replied as soon as possible to most of my questions - which was quite helpful. She is fluent in English, so the communication was very easy.
After I arrived in Korea, I went to Nana for my medical check-up the day before my surgery. The building is quite big, and they have many different specialized areas on every floor. On the day of my surgery, I felt both more anxious and excited - which is expected. I met Doctor Choi Jeong Sik for the first time, before my surgery, and did all the measurements, testing out different implant sizes, etc. He also answered all the questions I still had. He seems very friendly and professional.
My surgery was scheduled for 12 pm but was delayed by 1 hour. They let me rest in one of their wardrooms while waiting for my surgery. Finally, the nurse called me for the surgery. The next time I opened my eyes, I immediately knew that the operation had been completed because I felt quite a bit of discomfort and pain in my chest - which is again expected. They sent me to the ward in their building and let me rest there. Due to the loss of blood, I felt quite weak, and could not remain standing for even a short while, fearing I would faint. So I decided to stay overnight there and go home the next day.
After resting for a while and napping in the room, I felt a bit better and managed to eat some food, because I was sooo hungry and thirsty :). After eating food, I got more energy and was able to stand and walk a bit in the room. I even managed to go to the restroom and brush my teeth myself. The first night was quite uncomfortable. But the next day, I felt much better and able to go home. I immediately started eating the medicines that they had prescribed, including anti-inflammation pills, antibiotics, etc… Only thing I was disappointed about was that they do not provide any food when a patient is staying in their wards, so I needed to call my family member to bring some food. So please note that if you want to stay there overnight. I also should have asked about that earlier.
So, every day I was able to do more things, and the pain disappeared slowly. I got a transaxillary incision (under the arm), which limited my arm movements for the first few days. It is necessary to have someone beside you when you have this incision method, but the condition improved as time went by.
On my next appointment after my surgery, I met the doctor again and he checked my breasts and informed me about some of the things I should know. The first time, I saw my breasts then, I was so happy that the overall job was quite nice. My breasts were almost symmetrical, and they looked just wonderful. Overall, my recovery was very smooth.
As time went by, I was happy with my decision. Nana, especially Jasmine really helped me to go through this amazing journey, thanks to her and her team! I chose Korea because I believe in their skills and technology. Now, after 2 weeks, I am able to do most of the things, already gone back to my normal lifestyle except for house cleaning, carrying heavy things, and heavy exercising. I also just started driving again, which was important. Now the pain is almost zero, but the swelling and numbness around the breasts are still present - which is totally expected and normal.
So, if you wanna go for breast augmentation, do not be afraid, Nana surely will help you to achieve what you want, and you will be happy in the end. Thank you NANA, Doctor Choi Jeong Sik (who did an amazing job), and consultant Jasmine and her team!!
