6 weeks - So happy with them :-)

WORTH IT$10,000
I’ve really noticed how much softer they are this week, I’m so happy with my results so far. I only really feel a bit of boob greed when I take pictures of them for here, or for my surgeon - they look quite small to me in photos! But in real life they are just right.
One thing I have been a bit down about this week is the rest of my physique haha. Whilst I’ve started training again, I feel like the effects of not training really hit me this week and maybe all the hormonal changes cause by the operation itself perhaps. I seem to be carrying a lot of weight around my tummy and hips. I’m sure it will all settle in time. My skin and hair are still not as they was pre-op either, both have been really greasy again this week.
Went for my first run today, which was totally fine from a boob-perspective. We’re not on COVID-19 lockdown (yet) so making the most of the opportunity whilst I can. I hope everyone is safe and well during this weird time :-)

5 week-ish update

So nothing too exciting to report! Lots of dropping happening hooray.
My skin and hair have settled down mostly, but my skin’s still not quite as clear as it was. Sure it will all be fine though.
Generally speaking though I am really loving them now! They feel so much softer and less like a foreign object stuck on my chest. I am massaging them down 3 times a day for 3 minutes at the direction of my PS. Have also moved from the surgical bra to sports bras yay.
Definitely more comfortable with the size now and dare I say it, sometimes I look at them and think they are bit small haha. It really depends on the lighting and what I’m wearing. I guess a lot of the swelling has gone and I had mentally got used to them being massive and up in my collar bone. But at that time I didn’t like that. Basically I’m just a bit mental haha.
I know it’s too early, but got measured last weekend and she measured me at a 34C. Which I am totally disregarding haha. Firstly, she said I was between a 32 and 34, which I have not been since I was a teenager. I sometimes wear a 36 as it’s more comfortable. Secondly, I got measured in the same store as a 34b right before surgery and there is no way in the world I have only gone up 1 cup size. So I went and tried on 34d’s to make myself feel better and they fitted fine haha. It really is important a not to get hung up on cup size, particularly at this early stage, as one person measuring could be so different to the next.

Oily Skin and Hair?

So for the last week or so my hair and skin has been totally gross. I have oily skin anyway and have to wash my hair every 2 days, but this is next level. My skin is usually very clear, but the skin on my face is is covered in tiny bumps that actually look quite dry and almost like a rash. Anyone else experienced this? I’ve read a few Q&A’s from others on the site and apparently it could be from the procedure, meds, stress hormones etc.
Aside from that, nothing too exciting to report. Yet ANOTHER skin reaction to the hypafix tape I was using on my scars. Have stopped that on the advice of my surgeon and will try vitamin e oil instead.
Not much dropping & fluffing going on and they still feel high and huge. Think I need to be a bit more committed to the massaging.
Have been cleared for light cardio which has made my day. Mentally I’ve been a bit low and physically I’m feeling chubby, so I’m excited for a bit of treadmill and bike time tomorrow to get some endorphins going :-)

Tiny bumps that almost immediately pop if you touch them? Redness/ irritation? If so, you probably have a bacterial infection on your face. You need to go to an acne specialist who will treat and exfoliate multiple levels of dead skin off, lance the white bumps and apply medicine to them. That's currently what I'm going through. I thought I had a grip on the situation but in the span of a week it got worse not better. Almost like I was having a reaction of some sort. Super glad I didn't listen to the doctor/dermatologist and go on an antibiotic (would wreck your gut even more). Look into clindomycin lotion and seeing an acne specialist who does more holistic healing, as your body has already been through a lot. And I would do that over a facial treatment for sure as that's just treating it surface level
Aww babe, sounds like you're having a rough time :-/. I don't have any irritation, the best way to describe it is that my skin feels gritty and looks ever so pink and dry in places after I've washed my face. I'm fairly certain it's hormonal given what is going on with my hair as well. The surgery is a big deal. We put our bodies through a lot and all the meds and stress hormones take a while to settle down. I really hope your skin settles down soon too :-)
*ever so slightly pink
