Realself has helped me so much in the process of researching for a breast augmentation, so I decide to give back what I've experienced with the hope that it may help other women.

After surgery

The surgery lasts 1 hour, dr picked mentor 250cc. I went home the same day, my chest was SUPER tight and it's even hard to laugh. I couldn't stand straight and need pain killers. But I prepared for all of this.

Hi!I’m also an Asian patient who wants to do breast augmentation in Dr.Douglas. Can I have your personal contact information? I just want to discuss with you.

The first 48 hours were tough. My chest starts swelling and the bra 32 became super tight. It's like a blunt knight cut to my swollen skin so I change to bra 34. The upper chest was really painful because that's where I placed the ace band. I slept with 3 pillows on my back. (You'll really need to make sure someone else will take care you during the first 48h) After 2 days, I felt significantly better, the swelling rundowns to my flank and lower abs. Honestly, I was depressed in the first couple of days. I was afraid that the size was too big for my frame and wished the time could turn back. When I looked at the mirror I just saw a bloated body with 2 fake boobs so I questioned my decision )). Even though I had prepared, I was still going through stress and depression. I planned to read books during the recovery time but sleep actually was the best thing to do because it helped me escape the pain. I slept more than 12 hours a day during the 2-5 days.
