After about 1,5 months, my left implant (still the left in the photos) is slightly moving toward inside. When I flex they look pretty asymmetrically. Then Dr. Taranow told me to massage every day with VERY strong pressure and now they do appear more symmetrical (as in the photos). I still need to push the left implant to the left side every day and I believe if I neglect for a couple of days, it will go inside again.
My breasts look fine when my arms down. When I raise my arm, my ribs open wider and therefore I can see the base below the implants and it looks fake to me. They look faker when I lay down with arm up. This makes me wonder how it will look like if I had gone 1 side up with a larger base, then I can possibly cover more of my base.
My breast looks fake when I lay down and Dr said there's no other way to avoid it. I'm genetically skinny and flat-chested. So I'm either looked completely flat or fake when laying down. :))
At 2,5 months post opt, my implants drop pretty slow. My nipples are still below 1/2 of the implants. Dr said it takes longer for Asian patients to see final results, so again, I need to be patient.
Every now and then when I look at myself naked, I do wish I had gone a little bigger. If I want to show some cleavage, I have to wear a very tight-tiny top. So, I put on a thick padded bra just to realize that my upper body looks really thick (because my hip is pretty narrow) which I'm not fond of. Overall I'm 90% happy with the size, I can play up and be volumous with a padded bra or play down and perky with just silicone patches.
I'm aware that I can't achieve a VERY natural look because they are actually fake. But that's OK. The more I look at girls with breast implants regardless of the small or large size, the fake ones still look fake. But as long as the implant size is promotional with the body, they do enhance the aesthetic look for the whole body.
I definitely recommend Dr.Taranow because he gives patients a lot of his time. I had 2 consultations with him before the surgery, had weekly check-ups in the first month and I can still visit every month after as much as I want (for the shake of feeling ok in my head, lol).

You look great. I am actually deciding between 250 and 275cc. Did your PS tell you what size he would recommend. I do not want to go to small and certainly not to big. I like your results but may want a little bigger. How natural do they feel at this point? How do they move without you squishing them. I really do not want them to be too firm. Can you post some updated videos showing how they have softened?

Base on my wish pic, my PS recommend 275cc. However, I picked the range 200 -250cc and limited him not to go over 250cc so he picked 250cc. Sometimes I did wish I had chosen 275cc so they covers more of my base, then sometime I think 250 is just perfect for me because I can always play up with bra but cannot play down. Lol. One thing I didn't realize is that I always have to wear padded bra to cover my nipples (silicon patches do not help much) so they do look like 270cc with the bra anyway. If you're torn between 250 and 275, pick the one that has diameter closer to your breast width so it will give you more cleavage. Or let the PS choose for you because he can use sizer during the surgery to see which one looks closer to your wish pic. I'm in the month 3 and they do getting softer than the beginning, but not to the degree like natural breasts. How soft they feel depend on how soft the implant itself and how big the pockets and the capsules are. So now it's up to me to massage everyday to make the pockets and the capsules bigger. I have to wait 6mo to a year to see the final result. When I jump they do jiggle like my butt cheek =)) I can feel the weight of the implants as well as how my skin stretches to cover them. It hurt a little bit. When I lay on my side they do fall down to the side as well. Overall, I believe they will drop more as time go by and therefore will be way softer. Yes I will update a video in a couple of week so you can see my result

Thanks for such a thorough response. It is helpful. My concern is going to small and I regret it. Go too big and I'll never look natural. I wish I could I'd have the surgery then adjust the size. That is not an option. It makes me nervous. Thanks again. I will keep watching for updates.

Yes choosing the size was my number 1 concern as well. Find as many wish pics that has similar body frame like you, do you like wide or close gap. Do you have close or far nipples, do you want side boob or no side boob, do you want moderate or high projection, etc and let the PS know that. Knowing exactly what you want first and it's actually not easy. I found myself changing from time to time should I go slightly small or slightly big. You can photoshop yourself using wish pic (that's what I did) to have a better idea. Or make some circle shape paper that resemble the implant diameter and stick to your chest to see how big/small they look. After the surgery I realize that the diameter and projection matter way more than the cc. Pick the diameter that's closest to you your breast width so they give you cleavage and cover all of your chest. If you have thin/tight/less breast tissue, don't go for high projection. So determine that 2 variables first: 1/ diameter (the most important) 2/projection 3/finally the cc. Regard the natural look, unless you already have some breast tissue, they will never look like natural breast. My breast implants look natural only when I stand up with my arm down. They look fake the most when I lay down or arm up because they can't spread out like fat tissues... Hope that helps.

The best explanation from the BA experienced person I read ever!
Thank you very much for the explanation especially pointing out the importance of the diameter, projection.

My breasts are definitely softer and no longer hurt ( before my nipples still burned about 3.5 weeks post-op). I'm able to pull them together (kiss) )). I'm able to raise my arm pretty high. Armpits are also not as hard as before, less pain. My scars are getting flattened too.

I also feel like they shrink too which I heard many girls experienced. It's amazed me that even tho I prepared, I'm still going through a lot of emotions up and down. I do have mixed feelings about the size, sometimes I feel like they are just about right, sometimes I really wish I could have gone bigger, like 275cc so I can have a little side boob. (Definitely no blame on Dr. Taranow, I myself limited him not to go bigger than 250cc). I'm not sure If I can still have side boobs. Dr. Taranow said I can push the breasts outward instead of inward, which means I'll lose a bit of cleavage. Anyway, it's only 1 month, once they drop and fluff, they may go further a little bit? :P. I need to be patient, patient, patient!!! :D

I go check-up with Dr.Taranow every week for the first month which I know, not all doctors are willing to do that. He also gave me an extra ace band and even roses!!! He's top-notch and really goes extra to take care of his patients!

Loving your results! Were these teardrop or round implants? Can't wait for the next update, I'm taking your boobs in as my wish pic, my surgery is 4th march :D
February 15, 2020
I post an update. I had 250cc round smooth moderate plus Mentor silicone implants. I heard that teardrop implants will rotate and they do have a textured shell which makes them feel harder. Feel free to ask anything :).
April 15, 2020
I have 440cc high profile mentor anatomical (teardrop)
They look amazing and no one can tell they're fake they look that real, they feel super soft and only a very tiny percentage rotate.
I had 375cc high profile rounds before these and they looked fake and after a couple years gravity took hold and they looked awful you could see they were fake you could see the whole top of the implants! I wouldn't go for round again because of that. But each to their own. I just wanted to stipulate teardrop are NOT hard and not all of them rotate because that could put people off getting what they want.
your results look lovely dawn :) x

It's great to know that you are happy with teardrop implants. You're the only one that gives me positive feedback about teardrops. Can you write a review with some pictures so I can recommend my friends? Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your experience! The surgeon I plan to go with ALSO specializes in the transaxillary incision which wasn't my first choice... I'm honestly very nervous about that. Are you still happy with your decision on the incision? Anyways, your results look amazing! I hope you're loving them even more these days. :)

It's getting better pretty fast

Dawn1234567890
I stop the pain killer after 4 days. I feel so much better, less pain. In the 1st week check-up, the doctor says that everything's going very well, that I almost don't have any bruise, and very little swelling compares to others. The pictures are 9 days post-op, upper boobs are still swelling and still have a little swelling and ache in my abdomen. Implant size appears more proportional to my body now... or maybe I'm getting used to it )). They actually look bigger outside than in the mirror. I start to appreciate the doctor picking this size for me
