WORTH IT$5,600
I am at 35-year-old mom with two kids. I am 5'7" tall and 125 pounds. I consider myself small framed so I was surprised when my surgeon suggested I do 440cc implants. He explained to me that all your measurements can change even if you're small framed and you're tall you can handle a bigger implant and it will fit your body better. I saw this was true when he ran my 3-D imaging. To be honest the scan after pictures looked how I looked when I was breast-feeding my daughter. I am a 34B now and in a 34C in Victoria's Secret bras, we all know how that sizing goes. I am pretty sure I'm going to do the Mentor Xtra Moderate Plus. My surgeon is running the spring fling specials right now so I received a quote for the Xtra Implants for the same price that the traditional implants usually run. We have decided to go over the muscle as I have adequate breast tissue to allow this and it will give me a better end result.
What I communicated to the doctor was I wanted a more Womanly shape but I also wanted to fit inside my clothing and still look thin but was better boobs. I will keep you guys updated.
I am attaching my scans with 3D imaging and how I look in a 34C (VS) now with a lot of help from the push up!

Do you have a fair amount of breast tissue to work with? Are you about the same size as you were before kids?

I have enough. I am a little more deflated now.

I want some decent size bit I don't think I have much to work with so I think I'll have to go more modest. I hope it goes well. I am very excited to see how it turns out!

I’ve had mine for 8 years. No complaints except I wish mine were a full cup size smaller

What size are you now and why do you feel like that?
February 27, 2020
Went from an a/aa to a full d/dd. Mine just look heavy on me though. I still like them better than what I had but I’ve never loved them. I wished my surgeon gave me guidance etc on what sizes and profiles could be used for my body. My breasts were naturally a but different sized and I had to figure out how to balance them myself. I was only offered high profile and they feel too blocky on me. I like the ID of the 3D model. Seems like a nice tool! Every body is different though and will turn out differently.
Most people want bigger than they end up.

Pre Op Appointment

User Avatar

Today I had my preop appointment. The nursing team and patient coordinator really took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I had any questions answered. We confirmed the size, the doctor remeasured me, and made me feel at ease. I was given all the instructions and walked to the surgery center so I would feel comfortable next week on where to go. I was given ice packs and the two prescriptions for pain relief and an antibiotic. I also had my preop pictures taken.
T-1 week. I am nervous and excited. I go from feeling proud that I am doing something for myself to embarrassed. I am sure this is normal.
A neat perk that they do is give you credit at the spa. On Friday I get to go and have my consultation at the spa and decide what to spend my credit on. It will be nice to relax.
I made rice sizers and I am attaching a picture of me with 440cc in a rice sizer. I will see how close it is soon!

I bet you are so excited! I felt the same as you going into surgery. I wanted it so bad but also was scared of the unknown. It was a wonderful experience and the results were just what I wanted. I love my body now more than ever! So worth it to me! Let me know if you have any questions about the recovery or anything! This website helped me get through it all. Good luck to you!

Aw! Thanks you runner! This makes me feel better. I won't know what it's like to look womanly without a lot of help with bras.
February 27, 2020
You will be able to wear comfy non padded bras and always look great and perky!

Bra Sale at Target!

User Avatar
purduealumamber1
I picked up a few severely discounted bras from Target! My Dr. thinks I will end around a 34 D but as he said and we know, you cannot accurately guess it, but, I took a chance. If I am wrong, no biggie, I got three bras for $12! We will see how these look 3-4 weeks from now!

Good luck mama!!! I am 3 weeks post op. I am 37 yo, 5ft 7, 130 lbs. breastfed 3 beautiful children. Did saline 275cc. Went from a 34B barely filling to a nice 34D with that size. Check out my review. I'm loving them, every day they look better and better but the first 8 days post op was terrible pain. Will be thinking of you on your special day!!! It's the best thing I have done for myself.

Thank you! Yikes. I am worried about my size now since we are so similar! I really don't want to be too large!

The sizing game is nuts isn't it? 275-300cc on one girl looks completely different on another! I wore rice sizers around at home to decide which size I'd want, I knew it would be around 275-300cc range. Your sizers look good too. I'd trust your surgeon. Did you see my preop pics? I think you have more breast tissue than I did to start. Most people wish they would have gone bigger but other 400cc. Think you will definitely be at least 34D. Your 3D Vectra images look awesome, I'm sure you'll be happy with your result. I went under the muscle as I do lots of dance fitness and ballet but your look might be different since you're going over. I liked the option of hiding them when I want to or buy a push-up bra and play them up when I don't. I am a healthcare professional and my biggest fear was going too big. I think they are just right for my frame. Next time I might go 50cc more but that's really not a big difference. Mine aren't finished dropping and fluffing yet!

You know, I feel like every day they feel more and more like a part of my body vs foreign objects. Pain and discomfort gone. I would wake up in the mornings with what people call "morning boob". That super engorged feeling, and even that is now subsiding 3 weeks + 3 days later. I missed my breast milk filled boobs. I basically look exactly like I did full of milk while nursing and that's what I wanted back. To fill the upper and lower breast emptiness I had after weaning and losing weight. Keep us posted March 4th! And feel free to message me. I had so many questions the first few weeks and I'm still relatively "fresh" post op! Going back to work tomorrow (weekend shift, nurse)....can't lift more than 10 lbs so I will have to get nurse assistants to help me get some patients out of bed but most of my patients are newborns and most newborns weigh less than 10 lbs ;)
