How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Rushed Consultation, Will Steal Your Deposit
This office is a joke. I originally went for a consultation for breast lift and augmentation. They gave the option to do a preliminary photo consultation, so I sent pictures and received an email response saying I needed only implants, not a lift. That didn’t seem right to me, but I went ahead and paid the $15 consultation fee for an in-person consultation. (This is the only doctor who I encountered who charges for consultations, but ok.) When I arrived, after waiting for a very long time, I was finally seen.
Dr. Wali seemed to know nothing about the photos I’d sent in (unorganized at best) but he said I needed a lift and couldn’t do implants. So, the opposite of what the email said. He told me it was not possible to do both because I didn’t have “enough skin.” He seemed to be in a rush, was not very friendly, and kind of haphazardly duct-taped one of my boobs into this weird, squished square shape and said: “that’s how it’ll look once we do the lift.” Like an idiot, I just went ahead and booked the surgery, even though I still didn’t really have an idea of what it would look like (hopefully not actually like the squished, taped square.) I went and told some friends who have had breast augmentations about my consultation, and they all said it sounded really weird, and not like anything they’d experienced. They encouraged me to go to some other consultations. Let me tell you, the other consultations I had were not only free, but much more in-depth, much less rushed, and none of them said anything about me not having enough skin to do both a lift and augmentation. They were also less expensive, which made no sense since the other doctors I saw were in Pasadena and Beverly Hills and do very nice work. After settling on the far kinder and more compassionate surgeon Dr. Taylor in Pasadena (go check him out!) I called to cancel my surgery with Dr. Wali and collect the (supposedly refundable) $500 deposit that I had given when I made my appointment for the surgery. This is all started right before the coronavirus pandemic got really crazy, so when I was given the run around for a few days, I tried to be understanding. I waited a few days for them to “look into” giving me my deposit back. I received no emails or calls back. So I called again, and was told Crysta was working from home, but that she was still “looking into it.” I emailed Crysta directly. No response. I waited a few days and emailed again. Still nothing. I called the office and got the same excuse of “Crysta is working on it.” Well, then why won’t Crysta call me back or email me back, at least? At this point, I’ve sent at least 3 emails to Crysta, including a screenshot of the deposit to them on my bank statement, and made about 4 calls to the office over the course of 2 weeks and have gotten nothing but silence and weak excuses to blow me off and get me off the phone. Think very hard before booking with this surgeon, and don’t make any deposits unless you’re ready to have them run off with it.
