3 months PO and loving them!
MrsDoggJanuary 12, 2024
I can’t believe it’s been 3 months already. They totally feel like mine and I’m still super happy with the size. I can easily play them up, but they also don’t impede my ability to workout. My nipple sensitivity has gone away which I’m happy about (my left one was ultra sensitive for a bit). At Victoria’s Secret I fit perfectly into a 32 D, even though they feel more like Cs.

4 weeks PO!
MrsDoggNovember 3, 2023
4 weeks down and everything is feeling good. I’ve been able to walk/run and do body weight lower body exercises, but I can wait until I’m cleared to go back to full body exercises! Only 2 weeks to go! I’ve started using silicone scar strips daily. Not sure if they’re working or not, but I’m happy that I can’t really see the scars unless I lift up my arms.

Okay, thanks. My doctor told me he was going to do dual plane and maybe he did but I feel the muscle all the way around and under the implant. Maybe he decided my tissue was too thin during surgery. It might have helped you have such a good result to do it in two surgeries because it gave your muscle time to expand for the larger implant.
Do you have Natrelle? I have Natrelle soft touch but want to change to responsive. The doctor is worried about rippling with responsive. You look like you have none. Do you know how cohesive your implant is? Sorry for all the questions but you look great and I want to copy and I think we have very similar body type.

Hey there! Sorry for my delayed response. Yes, I got Natrelle soft touch (I think) I can’t find my paperwork anywhere! I don’t have any rippling, although I can feel it happen slightly when I bend over. Nothing major though. I hope all is well with you!

PO Day 4
MrsDoggOctober 9, 2023
Things are feeling great! Left side is more tender than the right, but nothing too bad. No morning boob or sensitivity issues like the first time around. Still sleeping on my wedge pillow even though I don’t feel like swelling or morning boob is an issue. I love the size for me! They feel full and I’ve got some cleavage, but they are still natural and not at all overwhelming to my frame.

Your revision looks amazing. They looked beautiful before but the larger size also looks really beautiful. Did you keep the same implant diameter and just go from moderate to high profile, or did you increase the diameter as well? How flat were you before implants?
October 11, 2023
Thank you! I started out pretty flat (32A) and originally went for 210 moderate which was 10.5 diameter. I was measured between 10.5-11 BWD. My revision implants were 325cc full profile Natrelle with a diameter of 11.4. I was worried about going over my BWD, but they completely fit my frame so it’s good to know that the BWD is an important factor, but it’s really just one out of many factors to keep in mind.
I hope this helps! Feel free to ask any more questions. RealSelf reviews/pictures/comments were very helpful to me :)

It stands for Breast Width Diameter. Most plastic surgeons will measure it when you go to your consultation and it helps provide a guide for the implant size. Typically people stay at or below their BWD for implant width, but others go 1-1.5 cm above. I went slightly over and they still fit my frame nicely :) I hope that helps!

This is extremely helpful. Thank you. I wanted a smaller natural look with a teardrop shape and I got what the surgeon recommended which is essentially the same as you. I got moderate profile 11cm width. My BWD is same as yours. I'm one year post op and I keep thinking the implant isn't wide enough because it doesn't fill the whole pocket in the upper pole which really makes it look more fake, not more natural. But everywhere you read they say go under your BWD for a natural look so I've been very confused.
With the wider implant did they have to lower your inframammory crease? I'm concerned that if I increase the diameter, the implant will no longer be centered and will be too high if the bottom stays in the same location. But I prefer to keep the crease where it naturally is. I also think I should have gotten a full profile so I can get the slope on top and the bottom fullness that I wanted. I was afraid full profile would be too full on top but now I think maybe full profile gives you more fullness on the lower pole. I'm terrified of a full upper pole.

That’s exactly why I went for the revision - I felt like my implants just weren’t full enough to fill in my cleavage and upper pole areas (I know you don’t want upper pole…in my case my upper pole is fuller now than with the moderate implants, but really nothing major. I also think once things settle more my upper pole will reduce some). I too was nervous about the high profile looking “too fake” but they really work well for my body type. I’m 5’4” ~120lbs, petite with a more athletic build, so I needed more cc’s to help balance out my more muscular frame.
If you are unhappy with your result, it’s definitely worth going to see your PS again and seeing what can be done.

That makes sense. Sounds like we've had a very similar experience this far.. Let me know how it goes as things settle into place, but already I think they look really beautiful. Thanks for sharing. How has recovery been compared to the first time? Did you lose and feeling either time?
October 13, 2023
Recovery has been WAY easier! At one week post-op (today), I feel like I felt when I was around 2 weeks post-op the first time. I never needed any of the prescription pain meds, only Tylenol or Ibuprofen for the first few days. I also never lost sensation in my nipples. My left nipple was really sensitive for days 1-4, but by day 5 they feel way better. Underneath both breasts feels a little raw (where the incisions are) when I touch them, but nothing bad. I will definitely keep you posted!

Thank you! Congrats, and good job going for what makes you feel happy and confident.

This is so helpful because my implants look very similar to your before photos. And your revision looks beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!
