Revision Gone Bad
I did not want to do this but I feel it's my responsibility to provide my honest experience with the public. Plastic surgery is very serious and expensive. I've had a few procedures and this was going to be my 3rd breast augmentation. I actually lived in Seattle and was recommended to Dr Ingram by a friend. She had an amazing experience so I reached out. We had a phone consult and then a video consult where we went over everything. I was going bigger and had a capsule from a previous surgery that needed to be removed and we talked about a lift on one side. The price was given to me and after I agreed and booked my flight and accommodations and I was all set.
Then I arrived to meet Dr Ingram in person. He was pleasant and we talked about what we were doing and the plans for my surgery. That went well and then I met with his assistant to go over payment. To my shock $6k was added to the price we agreed on during our video/phone consult. I paid a portion very unwillingly but I flew here and already had everything paid for otherwise. Oh and the size of implants I was told I was getting was not what they had. I basically had to beg to get them ordered. But when we had our video call I was told that they would have 3 diff sizes available and would place the size that fit me. Now I was worried. And now I'm botched....
So I leave this appointment and I did text and say I was unhappy with this surprise added cost. I was refunded a portion and felt a little better but still didn't feel great about this. But what was I going to do? I guess I should have cancelled and went home....
And now to my results....
I had asymmetry when I came to Dr Ingram. It's a huge reason I was there. I wanted this fixed. What I left with was even more. Now one of my breasts is bottoming out and the one he did the lift on is literally pointing at the ground. I will say one of my old implants had ruptured and I'm thankful that was taken care of.
I did contact them to see what could be done and was quoted another $7250. It had only been just over a year... I also have a painful capsule on one side. The same side that's bottoming out. This was actually the side that was perfect before.
I think he may be a great surgeon but unfortunately my experience was not good. The $ thing, me leaving just as bad if not worse than I came in ...
I will have to go to another surgeon to fix this and pay 10k+ to fix it.
