Ready (And So Excited) for a Big Change! Age 27, No Children

UPDATED FROM EvelinA91
8 days post

1 week post op

WORTH IT
I am now one week post op and I already could not be happier. The day of surgery was kind of rough and rushed. I came out of anesthesia feeling nauseous but it went well considering this was my first EVER surgery experience!
The day of and one day post op were the worst pain wise, but completely tolerable with prescribed hydrocodone. I sound that alternating ibuprofen with the hydrocodone was the best for me (because narcotics make me very nauseous and give me a headache).
I went back to work on Friday (and I do not have a desk job). I was able to work on my feet for a normal 8 hour day.
The photo attached is my own but I will update with post op photos taken in office shortly!

Wonderful happy everything went smoothly I wish you a fast recovery. this is something I really want to do to. Like you I never had any surgery before. May I ask you is it uncomfortable for you to sleep? I just need the courage to book a apoinment I am scared of risks. But I can imagine it gives wonderful confidence.

Ready (And So Excited) for a Big Change! Age 27, No Children

A breast augmentation has been on my mind since highschool. I was always a member of the itty bitty tittie committee. For a long time, I didn’t really mind to be honest, but at the same time, I not be more happy to move on from that. To have clothes fit better and not to be shy in bathing suits on the beach!

I had a few consultations in the Chicago land area before deciding to go with Dr. Bloom for the procedure. I felt that all of my questions and concerns were clearly addressed during the consult. I was not rushed and given time to speak out about my wants and Dr. Bloom even took the time to explain how the measurements taken are used to choose the best fit implant for a patient. I have decided on the Natrelle Inspira Full Profile Smooth Round Silicone implants (get to use my Brilliant Distinctions account and earn points towards Botox and fillers!). Because of my body shape and how, currently, my chest has more projection than my breasts, the full profile makes sense as the best choice. They are going to be placed submuscularly. Prior to the surgery, I have to get a bilateral ultrasound of my breasts (to have a baseline for pre-implant if needed in the future) and blood work (CBC and BMP). There is a pre-op appointment two weeks before the surgery and then I will be all set for the big day 2/18/19!!I’ll update throughout the journey. Will share experiences of my pre-op appointment, surgery, and post-op recovery!

Thanks for starting a review! Keep us updated. How is preparation going?

Preparation wasn’t too bad considering my initial consult and surgery were within a few weeks of each other!

Just made sure to have someone who was willing to help me from the day of surgery to a few days out and that was about it.
Hope everything went well with your procedure! Keep us posted. Thanks!
Thank you for your well wishes! Everything has been great and I could not be happier with my decision to finally have a breast augmentation.
