I hope to fill out a 34D afterwards - I’m so excited
1 Week Post Op
Day 5 Post Op
My new girls are slowly taking shape and I have less swelling and squareness on top compared to a few days ago. Woo hoo!! The past few days I’ve been in very little pain throughout the day, but wake up in the middle of the night in extreme discomfort and covered in sweat (TMI sorry.) I haven’t felt the need to take any pain meds in the past 2 days besides when I wake up in the middle of the night. I just keep applying ice and lavender essential oil to my chest which seems to be helping a lot. My skin is just SO TIGHT. My side boob area continues to be my problem area where I experience the most discomfort. My doctor says I’m healing well and does not want me to begin my chest massages until I’m a month out which sucks but oh well. I’m so happy with how quickly I’m recovering and can’t freaking wait until I can sleep on my side lol.

1 Day Post Op
HOORAY!! I officially have big boobs!!
Yesterday was my surgery day. My appointment was originally scheduled for 1:30 but they called and asked me if they could move it to 2:00 because they were running behind. I agreed and got there around 1:50 and sat in the car until my RN came and brought me inside around 2:30. At that point she did all my vitals and hooked me up to an IV and left me to rest in a private waiting room area. I sat there until 4:30 when the anesthesiologist came in and gave me the run down and then a few minutes later Dr. Farahmand came in and went over everything once again with me and marked me up. The CNA took me back to the operating room and everyone who I met with earlier was in there helping me get situated on the operating table. They put the mask over my mouth and told me to breathe in twice and that’s all I remember. I woke up around 7 ( I was told I’d be asleep in recovery for an hour) so idk how long my surgery actually took. I did not feel pressured on my chest like everyone seems to experience. Instead it was my side boobs that were in pain. I remember all I could say at first was “pain in my side” the nurse and the CNA and the anesthesiologist were in the recovery room with me helping me wake up and dress. I burned a few times and then started dry heaving a couple of times from the anesthesia. After that I was fine just in pain and verrrryyyyy drowsy. I remember barely keeping my eyes open and they were helping me into my husbands car. Once I got home I was fine just drowsy still. I had my pain medicine and nausea medicine right before I left the recovery room so I was basically a zombie the rest of the night. I was able to munch on a cracker or two but wasn’t very hungry. Today when I woke up I felt much better. The anesthesia seems to be out of my system now, thank god. I have pressure on my chest today but not anything intense which I’m surprised about. My side boobs still hurt though and my nipples don’t have much of a sensation right now. My chest just feels tight. (If you workout at all just imagine how you feel a day or two after doing a very intense chest workout). But otherwise I’m basically back to my normal self and have a full appetite. I still need help sitting up, pulling my pants down to pee, and opening most things. It’s hard for me to rely on anyone to help me do simple tasks but I know I have no other choice lol. I just met with my doctor again for my post op appointment and she said they ended up putting in 350cc high profile smooth round saline implants in me and this has taken me from a small 34B to a very swollen 36D. Overall I’m happy with the results even though I have frankinboobs right now lol. I’ll try to remember to update my progress as often as possible.
