16 days post op

So I’m now 16 days postop. The pain and pressure is mostly gone. I can sit up from laying down without feeling the extreme tightness in my chest. I am liking them a little bit better and I see that they are dropping but my left is dropping much faster than my right one which is kind of annoying. I started my massages about a week ago and I do them for about 45 seconds to to three times a day.

1 week post op

So I’m one week postop today and it’s gone by pretty fast. The pain has been very minimal and I was off of pain meds by day three. I knew that I had to wait for the boobs to drop but I still wish I woke up with perfect boobs. Around day four I started crying because I hated the way they looked. They are still really high but they are getting a little bit softer. I went for my first postop appointment yesterday and they taught me how to massage them. I can do the downward massage but it’s hard for me to do the upward massage because the incisions hurt a lot. Does anyone have any advice of how to break apart the internal stitches less painfully? Here’s an update pic

Day 3

Okay so today I finally was ale to take off the ace bandage and see my boobs. They definitely need to drop and I’m
Excited to see how they turn out.

The surgery went fine. The worst part was the IV. The pain afterwards was very manageable too. I’m off of the pain meds today and only really took them at night to sleep. Sleeping upright by the way is awful... my back is killing me.

I am really swollen in my stomach... I’m not constipated so it’s not that. I don’t like seeing my body so round so hopefully the swelling goes away soon. The pain is like a 1.5/10 today. My incisions are just a little sore. I am also slowly getting some strength back!
