WORTH IT
Before my breast augmentation and my most recent pic of me 5 weeks out. It’s still swollen, but you can see what it’s looking like now.
The incisions are on the nipple at the bottom half of them, one of the scars is not visible and the other is visible. You can see that one of them has a scar, I plan to eventually use bio oil on it later on. For now I am still using bioocorneum.

Breast Implant Size and Type
Right: 310cc
Left: 350cc
Subglandular (over the muscle) as per my request
Type: Gummy Silicone
I had to get two different CC's because my left was slightly smaller than my right. I choose over the muscle because when I work out, I lift a lot.

Recovery
Day 1-2- When I first woke up, it felt like I had two bowling balls on top of me and this was because my skin was being stretched out and I my body was not used to having implants yet. Additionally, the first two days were painful. However, I took pain medications and I was fine as long as I was resting. I was also taking antibiotics and medication for constipation. I was only nauseated when I first woke up. I slept with pillows prompting me up and pillows in front to help elevate my arms. I was not alone these two days, I had someone pick me up from surgery and the following day.
Day 3- I started sleeping on my reclined char, it made it easier and I was able to sleep on my back comfortably. When I was allowed to shower, I needed help getting up since it was painful, and I also had help to shower.
1 week post- Each day my pain was more tolerable, so I stopped taking pain meds after day 2, so Day 3...I was no longer taking pain meds or constipation meds. I had the steristrips removed and my breast incisions were covered with the dissolvable stiches. The whole time, I tried not to get my stiches wet, so I used waterproof dressings which helped tremendously at day 8 and I also did not have the water hitting my chest directly. I also started massaging my breast and using Biocorneum on my incision sites as directed by my doctor. Please keep in mind that for me, the pain was still there and it on persistent.
Week 2- I noticed that everyday there was an improvement on my pain level. I felt more pain when I had to get up from bed or sitting on he sofa, and when I would wake up, for some reason I am super sore. I noticed my stiches were a little darker in color and it looked like they were being absorbed or dissolving more. I did not work out this whole time, but I did take 1 mile walks each day at a slow steady pace since my surgery to prevent blood clots and I got up each hour or two ( I set up a timer as a reminder).
I bought another compression bra ( two diff ones) while I washed the original one.
Week 3- I was not lifting my arms above my head, even though I had subglandular breast implants, because my mobility was a bit limited, I don't know if it was because I had liposuction in my armpit or because I had my breast augmentation or maybe it was both. However, each day I had more and more mobility and I was able lift my arms at chest level the whole time. I tried not to pull or push as much as possible. The pain was less at this point, but sometimes I will get random pain at the nipple and it will remain for a hours and at times a day or two. I used Arnica around my breast and near my nipple (not on the nipple scars) whenever I had pain. The stiches were dissolved completely on one nipple and on the other it was almost gone. On one nipple the scar was not visible, it was as if nothing had happened. On the other nipple, you can see the scar.
Week 4- I felt like the implants were more a part of my breast. I never had kids, and my natural breast were perky. Therefore, I had no loose skin or sagginess. So, the breast still needs to stretch, but now they feel almost like they were part of me. The stitches were coming off more and more each day. I continue my biocorneum massages. I noticed my skin is softening in a couple of areas and it still hurts when I touch them to massage them. I know they are still healing. I still feel sore when I get up and I can tell they are swollen, just not as much as they were on day 1. I have been wearing the compression bra everyday.
Week 5: The stiches are all off! Finally. They came off at the end of week 4. I still can see the scar one of the nipples, but I saw the doctor today and he said the inflammation on the scar will go down. I had asked him if it was a keloid scar and he said no. I was so happy to hear, so I am going to continue the bioocorneum. I no longer have constant pain on my breast, but if I do get pain, so far it comes and goes. I primarily feel pain and soreness when I lay down and get up.
I am noticing my results are better each day because the swelling is going down, I think I am a 34DD, but Dr. Desai said the swelling is still coming down and I am most likely going to be a 34 large C or a small D which is what I was aiming for. I would like a large C or maybe a small D.
Week 6- So far I love my results. I am starting week 6, so I am still healing. I still have not worn a real bra, but he said I can start wearing regular sports bra. I need to try some on to see what size I can wear, I am wearing a medium compression bra and I think I am still a medium overall. I was a medium pre-surgery. The pain is no longer persistent, but I am waking up sore still and it goes away once I start walking. Also, I have been sleeping on my back this whole time, but I think you can be on your side after two weeks (follow his instructions). However, I opted to sleep on back this whole time. I continue walking each day for 1-2 miles.

1. Faster recovery going over the muscle
2. Implant is placed in the position where your natural breast fat sits, sub glandular.
3. When you work out, your breast implant won't move and contract with the muscle like it does with under the muscle.
4. Muscle is not cut, so won't need repairing if I ever decide to remove them in the future. Muscles remain intact.
5. I already had a cleavage prior to having implants, going under the muscle can cause a wider gap in the cleavage, so I got to keep my cleavage and it created a nicer cleavage if anything.
