I Finally Have the Boobies of my Dreams
I always wanted larger breasts growing up. All of my friends got boobs and I never really did. I decided that since I was now an adult, I could consider getting breast surgery.
I went to the first consultation visit at Dr Greenwald’s office and everyone was very nice. He was thorough with his information and answered all of my questions. I mentioned that my goal was to have a natural full look that would give me more cleavage.
The day of my surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were nice. Dr Greenwald assured me everything would turn out wonderfully (which it did!). I got 375cc Natrelle silicone implants under the muscle in each side and they were placed in under the fold. I used to be a a/b cup and the implants increased my size to a full c.
When I woke up, I was in pain after the surgery. It felt like I did 1,000 push-ups when I woke up from surgery I had to use the pain meds for a week after surgery (everyone has different pain tolerances, and My body was sore for a while after surgery so I wanted to utilize the pain meds). Eventually I could just use Tylenol when my boobies felt sore.
Right out of surgery I did have bruising on my left side and swelling on my abdomen down to my lower stomach for a few days after surgery. I would definitely suggest having a person with you for two or three days to help you get out of bed, shower and go to the bathroom as your arms are very weak the first few days.
I did have nipple piercings before my surgery, but had to take them out for surgery. I kept them out for a week and a half, but I couldn’t get them back in myself so I’ll probably get them re-pierced at some point.
Some things to note that I experienced while healing (and are completely normal and maybe something’s you may/may not experience):
- I had boob soreness every morning a few weeks after surgery.
- You will feel burning sensation on your boobs and nipples sometimes while healing (Dr Greenwald reassured me that this is just the nerves coming back to life!)
- Sleeping on your back isn’t that bad. Just get some comfy pillows and have a pillow on your left and right side to support your arms and it will be cozy. I suggest using an Airline neck pillow to support your neck when you’re sleeping upwards.
- One boob might be more sore than the other for a while or you may feel soreness up in your arm pit for a while while you’re healing. That will go away after a month or so (at least it did for me). I felt some aching in my left side for a few weeks (where I had more bruising after surgery). Dr Greenwald said that this is completely normal in the healing process.
- Each side of your chest heals at different speeds to just know that’s okay. One incision may heal quicker than the other or one implant may drop quicker than the other and that’s okay!
- remember to take deep breaths while you’re healing. It’s easy to breathe shallowly for a while because you are trying to protect your sensitive chest area/new weight on your chest, but try to breathe normally. I felt like I was experiencing shortness of breath, but it was because I wasn’t taking full normal breaths. ?
After 3 months, my scars are fading quickly and im 100% comfortable! ?
Dr Greenwald answered all questions at every follow up. I would 100% recommend coming to him for breast augmentation surgery. I love my results and I have the boobs I have always wanted.

Did you get High profile or moderate? Love your results! We have very similar body types and you are goals!
I got moderate profile - I was advised that would give me the "natural" look that I wanted. Thank you & good luck with your booby journey! :)
how long did it take them to drop and start looking good? your results are amazing!!!
I would say they started to drop in the first few weeks/a month (but everyone is different so it may take longer for other people!) These photos are two months out, so this is when they started to soften up a bit. They are still softening now too (after 3/4 months) :)
thank you!! I have my surgery in two weeks so i’m curious about everyone’s recovery!
Of course! If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Good luck with everything! :)
You look great,
Thank you for sharing! Did you use / do anything to help minimize scarring?
After my second check-up, my doctor gave me vitamin e and silicone gel to use. Once that bottle was finished, I continued using Vitamin E Oil. That seems to be helping a lot. My scars are fading pretty quickly. I use it twice a day and massage it into the scar area.
What is your ht/wt?
