Almost 5 weeks
I had to wear a strap for 4 weeks, which was a hassle. So the last week (I'm on week 5 tomorrow) I was allowed to remove it. That being said.. I slept wearing the band last night as I feel the left breast is a little harder and higher than the right, and I want to help it settle. I dont know if theres any point in doing that, but I think I will keep wearing it on and off.
Five weeks tomorrow
I thought I was gonna post regularly on here, but clearly that didn't happen.
I was in quite a lot of pain the first two weeks and had to ask my surgeon to prescribe me more morphine, to be sure I could sleep through the nights. My right breast was the most painful, every time I changed position or had been still for a while I'd get this insane burning pain at the bottom of it. Felt like someone sawing into my breast with a burning saw. Nothing to do about this but wait until it passed. This was especially bad during the night and mornings.
Then around day 12-13 something happened and I was in a lot less pain, didn't need painkillers at night anymore.
Went back to work after 15 days, was ok. When the workday finished I could tell that my left breast wasn't too happy about all this movement, it was a little swollen and harder than the right (I'm left handed and I assume thats why). This was like that for the first week back or so.
I have needed a lot of help from my boyfriend to carry stuff for me, remove ice from my car etc.. so these are things you need to take into account if you are going through with surgery. I've managed to follow the strict directions quite well as I've got all the help I needed, not needing to overdo things too early. I can't understand how someone manages on their own with kids etc the first few weeks, I would not have been able to!

Motiva Ergonomix 340cc Early Days
I've been wanting larger breasts for 10+ years and was finally in a stable financial situation so that I could seriously consider it. I had my consultation in July and booked the surgery for December. This gave me a lot of time to be sure about my decision and do research.
Surgery day: took all the prescribed medication on my way there. The antibiotics made me sick and I was sick in the car. Good start! After that everything was fine. The surgeon drew on me, the anaesthetic team took good care of me and then I woke up in the rehab (?) room after that. Got to leave after about an hour, I was full of local anaesthetics so I didn't really feel any pain. It got a little worse as the day went on but it was manageable.
Day 1: more pain, but manageable. Rough start to the day with a lot of pain when waking up and leaving the bed. Ok after that. No power in my arms. Can do simple things like go to toilet, sort out a cup of coffee etc. Took one pill of morphine when going to bed and it kept me asleep for six hours until the next scheduled painkiller.
Day 2: more pain. Worse when I woke up. Have been better at timing painkillers today. BUT! I've been extremely drowsy and tired, slept 3-4 times on and off throughout the day. I can feel the pain start to kick when its about 5,5 hours since the last painkiller. Don't get me wrong, I feel some pain and discomfort all the time, but not like that.
I'm also wearing the band to help push the implants down, as they are placed under my muscle and sitting very high. Have to wear the band for at least two weeks and I'm already sore from it. :-)
