It’s now been about 7 months since my operation. I’m really happy I did it. I hardly think about my boobs anymore which seems like the perfect marker of success. They just seem to fit me perfectly and never look out of place or feel strange on my body. They feel soft and relaxed and move naturally with my body.
I have slight rippling on the inner side of my right breast which is disappointing. I can see this under the harsh downlighters of my dressing room when I move around. I hope that it’s not visible in bright sun in a bathing suit, but I’ll find out this summer. I’ve included a picture, but in all honesty it was very difficult to get a picture where it was visible. I asked the surgeon about this at my final check up appointment and he said it wouldn’t have been prevented by an under the muscle procedure as it’s too far down. The only way to fix it is either to change the implants for firmer ones which wouldn’t look as natural, or to gain some weight. I am very lean on the top (unfortunately less so on the bottom half!). You can see my ribs all the way down my chest, on my sides, and even on my back when I move around, so if you’re not like that I wouldn’t worry about seeing any rippling.
My scars have healed so well. They are very faint now and feel less raised under my fingers. They are perfectly in the creases of my breasts so never visible. I’ve been using a silicone scar treatment as recommended by the clinic, but not religiously, just if I remember to put it on.
I’m excited for the summer and having a bit of shape for the first time, particularly in a bathing suit and a sports bra.
I should also say they are no problem at all for running or high impact workouts with a good sports bra. I don’t even notice them.
I’m pretty consistently a 32D now which is still very fun shopping, and all small tops and dresses fit fine. Some small bathing suits are a bit overly busty though!
I’m definitely very happy with my results and proud of myself for being brave enough to actually pursue this.

Six weeks post op
I’m so happy!
My breasts feel completely healed and 100% just like they’re mine. All the feeling around them is normal, even on the scars which are very small, thin, and only slightly raised still.
I think the size is perfect for me. Under clothes they look just right. Not an obvious feature, they just fill my clothes as they should. With a push up bra and the right top I can create a bit of cleavage if I want to. I’ve been measured and my new bra size is a 32 D.
They’ve softened lots in the last six weeks. They’re not quite as soft as natural breasts but they move and squish easily. I think they’ve probably finished dropping into place and look fairly natural. They’re a bit further apart than I’d ideally like, but I think that’s just my body.
My only reservation is I think I can feel a bit of rippling around the edges. I hope it never shows through. I have a follow up appointment with the surgeon next week so that’s something to ask about.
Overall I’m so pleased I went through with this. I have a newfound confidence and feel just like me but better.

Hello, I wonder if you wouldn't mind connecting with me regarding your surgery? Your situation sounds very similar to mine (2 breastfed children and small frame). I'd welcome any advice or recommendations regarding the surgery and size chosen. Thank you
Sure, I'd be happy to help with any questions you have.
Your result look great and natural.. Its been a few months passed now. Love to see more updates and pictures.

I’m so impressed. I had a check up appointment with the clinic today and they said all looks good. My breasts aren’t sore or uncomfortable at all any more and they really feel just like mine now. They’re getting a lot softer and moving more. I can tell they’ve dropped a little bit. The right one seems slightly further along. A little lower and softer. They still seem like they’re a bit far apart naked but even in just the surgical bra they sit where they should. The scars are raised but healing very well. I have almost all feeling back to normal. I’m loving them!

Hi did you have any drains ? Thank you
No, just some surgical tape over the stitches.
