Mommy Boobs in Need of Revitalization

UPDATED FROM Exquisite796197

I went through with it!

I got the surgery this morning! I found it to be a good experience. I loved my nurse at the surgery center and honestly my anesthesiologist was also great and I felt like I took a nap! I woke up with minimal pain. I have been resting in bed all day and evening and my amazing husband has been taking wonderful care of me. I am wearing a bra they gave me with gauze pads stuck underneath them and haven’t really taken a peek at my incisions yet. I finally took off the bra this evening because I really wanted a peek. I’ll post those pics for you—I think once they drop and fluff and settle, I am going to be super happy with the results! I know it is normal for them to be swollen and high and square looking. I’m not judging yet of course but I think I’ll be pleased in the end as far as sizing and placement goes. He ended up doing 355cc under the muscle. I plan to really take the next couple days easy. Anybody have any encouraging words to get me through this next week??

Mommy Boobs in Need of Revitalization

So excited! I scheduled my breast augmentation surgery for August 12 with Daniel Brown. He was my third consultation. I felt comfortable with both him and his friendly staff right away (very much unlike my second consultation). He has a great reputation and I like the breast aug photos on his website too. The most difficult part of this whole thing was deciding if I should do just the augmentation or if I should do the lift+aug. Dr. Brown said I’m in a gray zone where I really could go either way. In an ideal world to get the ideal boobs, he said to do the lift (lollipop) too. But he said I would still have a good outcome with just the aug. So it was a hard debate back and forth! My husband I think is what sealed the deal. The more he saw the scarring that occurs from lifts, the more he said he didn’t want me to have the lift. Anyway, that’s how we reached the decision about only doing the aug—very grateful to Dr. Brown for going over all the pros and cons with me during the consultation. Oh and also Dr. Brown says he thinks I’ll end up somewhere in the 325-350cc range, with moderate-high profile, round, silicone implants. I am definitely looking for a natural look!
I’ll post some pics so you all can see my before! And wish pics too! I’m 38 years old, and breastfed two babies (each for two years for a total of 4 years). 5’6” and 128 lbs. I used to have very nice breasts, but they are now so flat with no fullness in the top. And they hang down low. No cleavage, and I can’t fill out shirts or bras. It’s extremely frustrating and majorly affects my confidence. Can anyone relate?? Also I have lost about 18 pounds in the last year, through healthy eating and working out, which deflated them even more. :/ I think I realized after the weight loss that no amount of working out was going to fix the boob issues. Which is why I started meeting with plastic surgeons!
I’ll keep you updated on my journey. I can’t wait and I'm going to prepare for the surgery as best I can! My hubby is the best. He hasn’t always been totally on board (he has a lot of fears) but he always tries his best to be helpful and supportive.
I really relied on RealSelf to help me make this decision so that’s why I’m here to share my journey. Hoping I can help someone else with their research too!

I'm 5'5 130 and breastfed two babies for two years each! Mine look but like yours with pseudoptosis. Thinking I might not need a lift but also don't want to end up with the implants sitting at the bottom
Yes I had that discussion with my doc. He said there is that risk of the “rock in a sock” look (sorry that is crude) if you go too small. So definitely find a surgeon that knows how to avoid that.
What's lollipop?
