Recovery 1 DPO

Woke up around midnight & my migraine & nausea had finally passed. I think I took 1 Norco & 2 Valium the whole day. Otherwise, Advil was plenty. I was able to go out with my husband on a drive & run a small errand. I expected the pain to be much worse. I also was able to shower, to rinse off most of the hospital funk. I have pretty good range of motion still so I was able to wash & condition my own hair. I just took a quick shower because I did not like the heavy sensation of my boobs without my recovery bra. And I took a slow 10 min walk on my treadmill. But otherwise feeling pretty good today.

Recovery day 0

My 1st afternoon/night at home was a lil rough. But mainly because my migraine & vomiting would not let up, even with the Zofran. But the surgery recovery itself was super easy. I needed help sitting up from laying, but didn’t have much pain at all.

Surgery Day 1/3/23
Crookedhal0January 5, 2023
I woke up with a slight headache. And unfortunately because I couldn’t take anything for it, it turned into a migraine. So I was vomiting already in pre op. But the staff was great, tried to do whatever they could to make me comfortable. When Dr Riolo came in to see me & mark me up, she even personally brought me a warm wash cloth to clean myself up with. You could tell she genuinely cared. The silver lining is I was so distracted with nausea that my nerves were about nonexistent! They took me back to the OR, a couple breaths of oxygen & I woke up in recovery. I was a little nervous about the breathing tube, but I couldn’t even tell I had one, no sore throat or anything.
