In Love with my New Boobs

Beginning Stats:
144 lbs (after 50 lb weight loss), 5 ft 2 in, 12.5 BWD, 32D, 35 years old
Surgery & Implant Stats:
Motiva Ergonomix Demi 425cc, OTM
I am a Mom of 2, experienced pregnancy weight gain and weight loss. I have always wanted to have a breast augmentation, even before having kids, but was always worried about having the ultra-fake look and feel. In Dec 2025 I decided to get serious about it and I found Dr. Thayer through Quintessa on Instagram and started doing my research on his past client results. Once I felt comfortable, I booked a consultation for February 2026. I researched and researched and researched my butt off so that I was prepared and knew what I wanted. I didn't think showing up and not even knowing how to describe what I wanted would be very helpful so I used chatGPT to put into clear words the kind of results I was looking for. I went total Type-A personality and brought a 2-page document with me showing the boobs I liked on other people and which type of implant I was probably leaning toward.
The only change Dr. Thayer had to what I was expecting was the implant placement - I thought I would need UTM Dual Plane, and he recommended OTM because I had plenty of natural tissue to cover the implant. The most important things I wanted out of this procedure was not only to have more full breasts, but to retain my natural shape, nipple placement, and feel. I didn't want super firm, I wanted natural movement, and I wanted them to fit my body frame / width.
Consultation Day 2/18/2026 - I brought my husband and we walked through my goals, tried on sizers, and felt the implant samples. Dr. Thayer and Maggie were awesome and made the experience very comfortable. I felt heard and understood and all expectations were met or exceeded. I left the consultation thinking we'd land with either 380cc or 425cc Motiva Ergo Demi. I was expecting about a 10 week wait period before surgery but there were some cancellation openings as early as 1 month out so I booked!
Surgery Day 3/17/2026 - The surgery center is about an hour and 45 minute drive for me so my husband took me. All the pre-op instructions were easy to understand and comply with so I had no issues feeling prepared. Haley took us back and got the pre-op procedure started. Final chat with Dr. Thayer on the size decision - I was leaving it up to him to choose between the 380cc or 425cc depending on what the best fit was once he was in there. I felt very calm going into the surgery room and once I woke up, I had new boobs!
5-Day Recovery - My OTM recovery has been a breeze so far for pain management. I have a work from home job so I did take the first day post op completely off work but I was able to lightly work at my desk or in my recliner on day 2 and 3 once I was off the narcs. I know I still have months ahead of me for the "drop and fluff" process but I am already in love with my results and I know it's just going to keep getting better and better. I'm so glad I made this decision and chose a wonderful surgeon who listened and understood what I wanted.
I would 1000% recommend Dr. Thayer and the team at Quintessa Middleton/Brookfield. Can't wait for my future tummy tuck!! :)
