WORTH IT
Hi ladies! It's been just over a month now since my BA. I'm feeling much better- almost myself. I was lucky and did not experience much pain or discomfort with my recovery from the augmentation. Since I am a stomach sleeper, sleeping on my back for a month was a big challenge but by week three I could kind of sleep on my side with a LOT of pillow support and my bed lounger! I am really looking forward to sleeping on my stomach again soon! Just went for my 4 week appointment and all looks good. Slowly dropping. I have been massaging since day 3 and that was helpful in making them feel more like part of me and softening up the breasts in general. The girls still sit a little high as I am only a few weeks post-op. Still trying to be patient with this process. Our breasts do not settle at the same time and they asymmetry can be disconcerting. The right side is still not keeping up with the left in my case but it's not remarkably noticeable unless I am critiquing myself in the mirror. I am going bra-less whenever possible to let gravity do its work, per my surgeons suggestion. Dr. Castor and his staff have been incredible and I am so happy with my experience so far.! As I look down at my breasts (YAY! I actually have them now!), they do not seem very big to me. My husband assures me they are, which is good since it's a lot of money, time and effort to achieve! Lol!
Since I had Vaser at the same time that has been tough to work through simultaneously but I am glad I did both procedures at once. My stomach is still sore and I look forward to the next few weeks of healing to see results. Today I had a skin tightening procedure done and that should help with the smoothing and tightening. Posting a couple of pics and will try to post a couple more tomorrow. Steri strips came off today but I am not brave enough to look closely at my scars yet. :) Have a great week! :)

It's been a few days since posting. I feel better overall. Still sitting high and tight but doing massage several times a day and happy so far with my new look, knowing that in a few weeks it will look and feel even better. It seems to me that one side is a little larger/higher than the other. Trying to be patient with the process as my body is still swollen and adjusting. The discomfort from the Vaser has been the most painful part of recovery. Not unbearable but definitely more painful and uncomfortable for me than the BA.. I feel my core every moment... ouch! Happy Monday! :)

Hi I also had my BA with Dr. Castor. I am two weeks post op and my left implant is visibly larger than my right. I too am trying to be patient. Do you have any recent photo and an update that you could share?
Hi ButterflyBE! Dr. Castor and his staff have been great! :) I am right handed and so I think that is effecting my right breasts progress! :) Things do start to settle a few weeks in once the swelling goes down. It took 3 weeks for me to notice that they were beginning to get closer in progress... but I know it will take a few months for things to truly even out. Hang in there!! :) Happy recovery and I am happy to answer any questions you have if I can!

Day 3 PO
Last night was the worst as far as pain and discomfort. I was nauseous a couple times and unfortunately did vomit once. I had kept up with food, water and meds but something was not settling right and it was hard to get comfortable. The compression garment does hinder normal breathing and is somewhat uncomfortable to be in all the time.
Today has been a better day. I have stuck with Motrin for pain as I do not like the way the other drugs make me feel. So happy to have boobs! Can't wait for them to D&F! Tomorrow is my post-op visit. Will post a pic of any changes. Best of luck to all you ladies!
