Life is Too Short to Not Meet Dr. Shortt!

I’m 6 months post-op and I’m thrilled with my results!! It is everything and more than I ever wanted.
The background story:
For context, I had booked a mini tummy tuck with doctor Shortt years ago, but due to fear of travelling post surgery (I’m from Montreal) I cancelled it. I return, but this time for a BA. I consulted 5 other doctors and Dr. Shortt was always back to my mind. I admired his results, so I was like F. it. I’ll do it. Let’s drive to Oakville!
The surgery:
Ok, so normally this was supposed to be the scariest part but it wasn’t. As soon as I arrived to the clinic, I was taken care of. I was given a fluffy robe and long socks and fluffy sleepers. So so cozy. I saw doctor shortt a few minutes later and then right away to the OR. I literally lay there for approximately 2 minutes before a count down started. Before I had time to freak out I was waking up?? “hey Rebekah, look at your new boobs- the nurse said”
Recovery:
So for me, the first 48h were painful. Yes, but not crazy. The hardest part was moving from the hotel room bed to the bathroom. This will give me nausea and make me vomit. After the first 48h, I was brunching with my mom and sister - who happened to travel to take care of me. We stayed in Oakville for 5-6 days before we travel back. Dr. Shortt saw me before that and ensured I was all fine!
The travel back wasn’t fun tbh but right after I had plentyy of time to rest. I’d not sugarcoat it. Healing was difficult for me, but not because of “pain” but rather because I have 3 children. 6,4, and a 10 month at the time. That was savage. You can’t really pick up a baby for good 8 weeks. That was mostly the frustration of my recovery. Not pain, not complications, not the scar. Just not being able to mother. If you have no children OR older kids, then you’ll be more than fiineee! You can’t pretty much do anything at 2 weeks.
The boobs:
Ok the BOOOBS!!!!! These are wow. I had post partum/post breastfeeding deflated balloon boobs. I wanted something extremely natural and elegant. Something nobody would know. A mini breast augmentation. I got that. 160 cc each side. A nice 34B. Mini scars. Circular and healthy pre baby like boobs. I’m beyond happy.
The doctor:
The best for the last. The best doctor. Charismatic, meticulous and caring is what DR. Shortt is. He’s worth travelling the world. I will come back in 2-3 years to get my mini tummy tuck.
