First Impression of the Plastic Surgery Clinic and my Rhinoplasty Consultation
WORTH IT
So… let’s begin
Today I want to share my first impressions of the clinic, what my consultation was like
About the Note plastic surgery clinic
The clinic occupies three entire floors of its own. One floor is dedicated exclusively to breast surgery, another specializes in facial procedures, and after surgery, patients recover in private rooms within the clinic itself.
Each floor has its own reception and consultation area. The interior is designed in soft beige and white tones with warm lighting, creating such a calming atmosphere.
Honestly, the moment you walk in, it feels much more like a luxury spa than a medical clinic. There isn’t that typical “hospital” feeling at all, which instantly made me feel relaxed. Any anxiety or fear I had completely disappeared.
My first consultation – rhinoplasty
My very first consultation was about my nose.
I wasn’t looking for a dramatic transformation. I just wanted a subtle refinement without changing the overall harmony of my face. We all know how much a nose can influence your appearance, right? My goal was simple: I wanted people to look at me and think I looked prettier, but never wonder whether I’d had surgery. I wanted the result to be so natural that no one would suspect a thing.
One of my biggest concerns was losing the feeling of being me. I didn’t want to wake up with a completely different face or spend months trying to get used to a stranger in the mirror. I simply wanted to enhance the features I was already born with. My requests were very modest: make the tip a little more refined and straighten the bridge slightly since I had a small hump. I explained all of this to Dr. Lee. And I have to say, I’m so grateful the clinic provided a translator. Although, to be honest, many of the staff speak English fluently, especially those who work with international patients. Dr. Lee listened very carefully without interrupting me once. Instead of rushing into recommendations, he asked thoughtful questions to fully understand exactly what I wanted. Interestingly, I didn’t even bring any reference photos. As I mentioned before, I wasn’t trying to copy someone else’s nose—I simply wanted my own nose, just a little more refined. What impressed me the most was that he never tried to upsell me or recommend unnecessary procedures. When we discussed my hump, he explained that there were two possible approaches. One option was using an ultra-thin silicone implant along the bridge of my nose. The other was lifting the bridge itself. However, he immediately advised against raising it. He explained that doing so would change the natural proportions of my face and make my nostrils more visible, creating a result that looked less natural. He simply didn’t think it would suit me. Instead, he recommended the ultra-thin silicone implant combined with a very conservative refinement of the nasal tip—without making any dramatic changes. The moment I heard the words “silicone implant,” my imagination immediately went wild.
“Oh my God… that’s probably going to look thick, obvious, and completely fake.”
But Dr. Lee quickly reassured me. He explained that these implants are incredibly thin, custom-selected for every individual patient, and designed to blend seamlessly with each person’s anatomy. He also told me that many of the patients have had them for 15, 20, even 30 years without needing replacement. There’s no fixed expiration date or routine replacement schedule, which honestly made me feel so much better. That was the moment I knew I wanted Dr. Lee to perform my surgery.
Overall, I walked out of that consultation feeling genuinely heard, reassured, and excited about the journey ahead.
In my next post, I’ll be sharing everything about my breast consultation what we discussed, the options I was given, and how I made my decision.
Stay tuned!
