1 year update

Just found the pictures from when I hit the one year mark and thought I’d share as I always found it really useful to see how they changed in other people’s reviews.

They do continue to fill out the bottom and look more natural, but it’s quite subtle changes.

6 months since surgery

A few things to share 6 months on:
- I really don’t think about them much anymore, they just feel like part of me and never get any pain or anything that causes me concern.
- My nipples are finally starting to get less erect, I’m fortunate as I never lost sensitivity but did have very alert nipples for months. When going braless I still tend to wear nipple covers.
- Fully confident to go braless, it feels so normal that when I went to put one on it felt like a vice!
- My scars are still healing, they are quite pink still but I’m sure will fade over time
- My size before was 30A and now I’m a 30C with 220cc motiva mini implants. People are right in choosing the size up if you are unsure, I was torn between 205/220 and I’m super happy I went up a size. The size is exactly right for the final result I wanted!
- Super happy I choose the mini profile, I love that they sit very naturally and move when I lie on my side. I really didn’t want the upper fullness and as a result I think they look more natural.
- They’ve healed quite symmetrically. The drop and fluff was mostly done by 3 months but now I feel they are sitting really nicely.
- My placement was under the muscle, they look alarming when I need to use my chest muscles and that is when I actually ‘feel’ them. I can basically grip and move the implant with the muscle, which I didn’t know would happen! It wouldn’t have changed my decision, as I was too petite to go over the muscle.
- I have some distance between them, I discussed this with my surgeon before and after, asking if this would have been resolved through a larger size, he could formed it would not. My chest shape made that almost inevitable, and a larger implant would have just been more in my armpit. The alternative is a fat transfer but I’m not a candidate for it!
Overall super happy with them and the decision to go ahead.

Week 7

It’s been a while since my last update, I’m now 7 weeks post surgery. I was finally able to go bra shopping - the biggest surprise was that I have been wearing the wrong back size my whole adult life. I’m a 65cm/30in band, so have gone from a 30A to a 30C.

Buying bras has been very fun, but mostly I don’t need one! I do have to use nipple covers as my nipples are super pert. Every now and then I get a small burning sensation in one boob, but otherwise I am totally back to normal. They are much squishier now, but don’t jiggle which makes the whole no bra thing very easy!

I’m super happy with the size now - being out of the surgery bra the drop and fluff are much more obvious. They are just right for my frame which makes them seem natural. I’m so glad I went for the mini profile because at some angles the projection is surprising!
