2 Weeks Post Op
WORTH IT
Hey Friends! So I’m now 2 weeks post op and I’m healing very well. My right breast is currently more swollen on the top than my left, but just slightly. If you’re considering breast augmentation, make sure you buy several compression bras, I only initially got two and found myself constantly having to wash them. I have silicone tape covering my incisions and I haven’t had any issues or pain there. I have minor swelling on the tops of my breasts near my pectoral muscles and they feel tight and engorged. The first few days after surgery my stomach was quite bloated. My nipples are extremely sensitive, not sure if thats a good thing… yet. I’ve gone from a B to a full D cup. Good luck to anyone thinking about surgery!!!

I Have Hot Humungous Breasts!!!
Dr. Gray has the most gentle, reassuring bedside manner of any Doctor I have met. 40 year old Female, 5’7, 145 lbs. I had a bilateral breast augmentation with the implant partially under the muscle. We decided to go with Mentor, smooth round, Moderate Plus Profile Saline, 450 cc. I had an inframammary incision, and the procedure was done at Victoria Surgical Centre, Victoria, BC. Dr. Gray suggested Saline implants as because if a rupture were to occur, the fluid is biocompatible and we could address a rupture as it would deflate, therefore having the opportunity to be addressed quickly. I breast fed two children and after becoming increasingly physically active, I had lost a lot of breast volume. In my 20’s, I was a D/DD38 and before surgery I was a B34. I would say my new cup size is between a D and a DD. I opted against any narcotics for pain meds and I was prescribed a heavy duty anti-inflammatory instead. No bruising, just an overall tightness in the pectoral muscles. No bleeding through my bandages and no pain in the incision sites.
