Ended up using moderate plus without specifying that to me before the surgery

Almost a Great Experience with Dr. Wages.

Everything he says about fast recovery is true! I was so scared about the process, but I was back to work in just 4 days (which is amazing). My breasts healed well, and his post-op recommendations were very effective.

Downside: I had selected high profile, which he confirmed during our last consultation, but he ended up using moderate plus without specifying that to me before the surgery.

He said he has “mod+” in his notes but didn’t remember much about it – It was never mentioned before surgery, either by me or him.

I decided to leave my review after giving my breasts time to drop and speaking with him. That can happen, and unfortunately, it happened to me. HP would make a difference, so I will have to spend a few more bucks in the future to fix the low projection (no solution offered by him).

Response from Dr. Wages:
We appreciate all patient feedback that helps us improve our care and informs others about our practice. That said, we feel we should clarify that Dr. Wages only performs procedures according to the surgical plan presented in consultation which is signed off on by the patient. While most patients are thrilled with their initial results, we are happy to provide additional support to any patient with concerns. Please reach out to our office to speak further.

That's like you need to fix a car, you agree to new parts, but tech puts in old parts. It breaks down when it shouldn't have. Tech should remove old parts and put in new parts at no charge.
Same hear. Remove implants and put in HP implants as it should have been.

Do you have the waiver you signed? If it says high profile and he used moderate plus, you have grounds to ask for revision. .

Yes, the plan for Mod+ was NEVER mentioned. I didn’t even know there was a “plus” version of the moderate. The exact implant they would use wasn’t specified in the documents I signed either, which is disappointing. I verbally confirmed the high profile, and he assured me it was correct. But when I brought this up with him later, he just said, “Sorry, I had mod+ in my notes,” instead of trying to find a better solution.
