Not All Heroes Wear Capes!
WORTH IT
Dr. Jabs and the team are by far the most amazing individuals. This medical team right here deserves a lot of praise.
9 months ago, I made the decision to make the deposit (on the very first visit to see Dr. Jabs) to get implants and minor liposuction of the axillae (armpit area). 8 months ago was the day. I got the procedure done, I got 375cc I got a breast augmentation. I was a 32A. I used to have to wear push up bras all the time, those Victoria's Secret ones that add "2 cups."
The day of the surgery was so easy. I got there at the time I was scheduled to come in. They got me ready. They nicest nurse (a guy, I forgot his name) prepared me, gave me some information, and then the anesthesiologist (the kindest lady in the world!) came in the room and answered all my questions and concerns about the anestesia. She explained the process of everything she does and how she is there next to me the entire procedure.
Then, the male nurse took me to the operating room... and the rest is a blur. I just remember waking up to what felt like 5 minutes later with pressure on my chest (but no pain at all!), sitting on a wheelchair, and the male nurse telling me my significant other was waiting outside and I was good to go!
I was so shocked! That quick?! Yup! I don't really remember the first night, but all the nights after, for about 4-5 days were fine. I didn't take any of the medications other than the antibiotics after the first night-- I really didn't feel any pain at all, just pressure on my chest, of course.
The only bad part of the entire process was when it got to sleeping. Man, is sleeping almost sitting down a torture! I am a tummy sleeper, so that made it extremely difficult for me. I needed some help with getting dressed and taking a shower the first 2 days. I didn't even try to raise my hands. My significant other even had to brush my teeth for me. But other than that, I have no complaints at all. In fact, I have so many good things to say...
Today, 8 months post-op I am so, so happy to say that I am a 32DD/34D. I have never felt so happy! My scars are almost non-existent, and I feel so great wearing dresses and tops without a bra (specially a push up bra). I have received to many compliments from so many people! Most of all, I am so so happy in my body now, and I am so happy with my results. Looking at myself in the mirror has never felt so great (and it has always felt great)!
I really do want to thank Dr. Jabs and his entire surgical team. I am so grateful I chose Dr. Jabs for these two procedures!
I would recommend Dr. Jabs to my friends and family (and YOU!) in a heartbeat. Don't think about it twice! He really has the best surgical hands. It has been such a breeze.
*I will post some pictures soon*
