So Happy Already! Thank You Vivek and Team!

First of all, I can not thank Vivek and the team at elanic enough for how amazing they have been over the past few months! I went for a consultation with Vivek after having low self esteem and body confidence issues from a very young age, noticing my breasts looked abnormal compared to the other girls in the gym changing rooms in high school and other women around me since 12 or 13. When I found out the term for my abnormality at about 15 I had my heart set on getting it corrected once I was old enough and Vivek has been excellent at talking me through my deformity and the corrective procedure in a calm, reassuring and easy to understand way, giving me (and more importantly my very cautious and worried Mum!) the confidence to trust him and the team with my breast augmentation.
Every single person at elanic has been nothing but kind to me at each and every visit or in every call. I had my first consultation with Vivek back in January and when I had a minor wobble in April because I had forgotten to take pictures at my first appointment to reassure myself that I had chosen everything correctly, I was quickly given another free consultation with Vivek to look again at my vectra images and try on implant sizers. Again, he took my new long list of questions I brought along and reassured me for every single point!
The nursing team have also always been very quick when it comes to me emailing in any questions that ever pop up in my head which I'm very grateful for!
For surgery day, the team had me in the clinic for 10am and I was back home in my bed by 2.30pm which I couldn't have been more happy with. Again, I was well taken care of both before the operation and afterwards, getting tea and biscuits immediately after coming round! I am currently 1 day post op and the moment I came round from sedation yesterday I got emotional looking down at what a great job I could already see Vivek had done for me.
I can't yet fully comment on after care or healing, but so far so good, pain hasn't been as bad as I was expecting and you get given away plenty of painkillers to help. I already have 4 dates in my diary for post op check ups and calls, which again reassures me I am being well looked after and taken care of by everyone.
Thank you again Vivek, I know I still have a long path of healing and "dropping and fluffing" but I can't tell you how pleased I am with everything already! Would highly recommend elanic, don't hesitate!

Almost 2 Weeks Post op Update - Recovery and Aftercare
Graceful619861May 26, 2023
Finally 11 days post op from my breast augmentation with Vivek! The first week was really rough for me, I had quite a bit of swelling and a very tight, painful chest at first but the pain peaked around the 3-4 day mark. I also experienced quite a bit of bruising after the operation which is still clearing up at the moment.
Thought I would include some info about myself and the implants I went for: 5ft5, 65kg woman, had tuberous/tubular breast deformity, went for 330cc and 350cc anatomical implants placed dual plane.
I have also decided to attach some images showing the scans taken during my first consultation with Vivek, how my breasts looked before my augmentation, how they looked a couple of days post op and how they are looking now that the swelling has quite drastically subsided.
I honestly cannot tell you how over the moon I am with my results already, the swelling seems almost non-existent now, I can see some lovely definition coming in and the size is exactly what I had hoped for! I am so excited for the drop and fluff process though and seeing how they will look in a few weeks time, but it's already been so exciting seeing the progression!
As for pain at 11 days post op, I am doing amazing! I had a dose of ibuprofen this morning as I normally experience the most pain in the mornings and in the evenings but today I haven't felt the need to take another dose since, no uncomfortableness, no major pain that's irritating me, most I am dealing with is very slight incision pain sometimes and even calling it pain is a push to be honest - it's is more like a slight burning feeling but doesn't exactly hurt. I also haven't had as much evening pain in my breasts for the last 2 evenings now which I am so happy about because that was definitely the worst time of day for me.
I had my first post op appointment on Monday the 22nd, the nurse was lovely as per usual. She changed my dressing and checked how I was healing before taking some progress pictures for me. Everything looked like it was healing really well apparently, only thing she was a little concerned about was the remaining very dark purple bruising that seemed to be quite heavy in one spot. She said that she wanted to keep an eye on this and how it is healing so I am booked in for another post op appointment next Tuesday. I have been very impressed with the after care so far and am glad they want to keep a close eye on things like this!
Again, just feeling so so happy now, the first week or so was a real pain and discomfort rollercoaster but now that everything is settling down and I'm back to my usual energy levels so I can get out the house and things I couldn't be more excited about the rest of the healing process and seeing my end results!

Healing going absolutely amazingly!!
Graceful619861June 4, 2023
I will be 3 weeks post-op tomorrow and things are still going more smoothly than I ever could have hoped! I have been off of painkillers for ages now, no real pain at all anymore, just some not very pleasant sensitivity all over my breast sometimes.
I had a follow up post-op review at 2 weeks post-op last Tuesday, my bruises were checked and seem to be clearing up well so there is no real concerns about that anymore. The nurse as per usual was so lovely, changed my dressings again (I didn't need them anymore really but she said I was welcome to have them popped on again if I would like). She also snipped some bits of stitches off from the edge of my incision for me, they are disolvable but the edges can apparently stick out sometimes and cause some irritation issues. I can barely see any bruising now which I am so happy about and I'm pretty sure that all swelling has completely gone away now! I removed my dressings for good this morning and wow!! The scars are so so thin!! A little bit red still but I am so impressed my how small and thin they are and the nurse also seemed confident that I would scar really nicely!
I am feeling more and more impatient now for getting to try on all the bras, clothes and swimsuits that I have always wanted to wear but only 3 weeks to go now until my compression bra can be done with!
