Great Experience, Highly Recommend Dr. D'Souza
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. D'Souza and his entire team. I booked a consult here after seeing all the 5 star reviews on Yelp, Google, and RealSelf. The office staff reached out to me immediately after I filled out the contact form on their website. The communication is great - they text you, send email reminders, book Facetime appts if you prefer that, etc. I went in for my consultation and was sold immediately. I booked my surgery before leaving the consult and ended up cancelling the consultations I had booked with other offices. Leah and Sabrina are the 2 ladies I interacted with in the office and they are so welcoming and genuinely nice. I normally get very anxious going into doctor's offices and talking to the staff but I didn't feel that way at all at Iconic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. D'Souza took his time explaining sizing for breast implants. He showed me all kinds of photos, took measurements, and gave his recommendation. He didn't rush me at all and I appreciated that. He made me feel very comfortable and I knew he was the doctor for me! I booked my surgery for 3 weeks out even though they had sooner availability. The surgery center is nearby to his office, but I believe he works out of a few different surgery centers.
I ended up going with 385cc silicone implants and I love them already! I am only 5 days post op, and the rapid recovery system is LEGIT. I was feeling great by day 3! I am able to drive, go to work, and do light housework with no pain. My incisions are healing beautifully and quickly. Tylenol was all I needed instead of the pain medication. After surgery, Dr. D'Souza provided his cell phone number which I thought was a nice touch. I was able to contact him over the weekend with any questions or concerns. He also called my husband a few hours after I went home from surgery to check in on me.
Side notes -
- The pricing is fair and within market pricing. You really get what you pay for, so keep that in mind.
- I brought my 3 year old daughter with me to my pre-op appt and the office team was so nice to her. Just wanted to mention that because it is not always that way in doctor's offices.
- The office team as well as the surgery center followed COVID safety protocol and I felt very safe.
