WORTH IT
I had saline implants done about 5.5 years ago in September of 2012. I had moderate profile - 360/390cc behind the muscle. They looked great! Only thing I didn’t love was that there wasn’t much projection from the side. I also wished I would have gone bigger (of course, lol). My surgeon at the time didn’t even give me an option on different profiles so I wasn’t sure there was other choices!
Anyway... fast forward to December 2015 when I woke up to one tiny boob! My left implant completely ruptured! I was pregnant with my second child at the time, so there was nothing I could do. :( I looked ridiculous having one big and one small boob, so my only option (since I was pregnant) was to have the other drained. So sad.
Here we are 2.5 years post rupture and 3 Kids since my first augmentation and I’m finally ready to have them replaced!! Insurance covers the costs of both implants, so I’m just paying surgeon/anesthesia fees. I’m using this opportunity to switch from saline to silicone and from moderate profile to full (HP). I’m also going from 360/390cc’s to 485/520! I am SO EXCITED!
My surgery is scheduled for a week from today on 6/19/18!!!

I’m so sorry, I just noticed your comment! I’m still trying to figure this out, lol!! I am now 3 days post op so I just did an update!! And yes, my first set was great! I had moderate profile before, so they were a little wider which gave me the perfect amount of cleavage. This time I went with high profile, but went bigger in cc’s so I could match the width of the moderate implants I had! Looking like I should get the same cleavage again this time.

Also, insurance didn’t cover it... I had a 10 year warranty on the implants themselves. Since the saline implant ruptured just a couple years after getting them, the warranty covered new implants. I still has to pay surgeon and anesthesia fees...but saved around $3,000 for the cost of the implants. I also got to switch them out to silicone and increase the size. :)

485/520 full profile silicone implants after ruptured saline

ashleylyn24

I had saline implants (360/390cc moderate unders) placed back in September 2012. In December 2015 while pregnant with my 2nd child, my left implant ruptured. Since I was pregnant at the time my only option was to have the right implant drained to match the other. The plan was to have them swapped out after kids and breastfeeding. I ended up having my third baby 8 months ago! Unfortunately she self weaned from breastfeeding at 6 months. Only positive about that is I can finally get my boobs redone!!

I am scheduled for surgery on 6/19 (next week!!) and have decided on going bigger and switching to silicone! I’m also switching from moderate to full profile. I didn’t like that there wasn’t much side projection with my moderate implants. And of course I always regretted not going bigger, so here’s my second chance! I have asymmetric boobs so I’ll be doing 485/520cc. :) My before stats: - 34b (barely) - 5ft 9in - 135 pounds

3 days post-op!

I had my old empty saline implants removed on 6/19 and replaced with silicone Inspira 485cc/520cc. Recovery has been a BREEZE! My surgeon also had to perform a capsulotomy as well. The day of surgery was the worst, pain wise...but still totally tolerable. I’ve only taken Tylenol and ibuprofen this whole time.
I am definitely swollen, high and tight, but so excited to see what these will look like in a few months! I am already having boob greed, even though I went bigger than my original implants (which were 360/390)! Hoping as they drop into place, they will appear larger. Fingers crossed! They are also a bit crooked right now, so hoping they will level out as the heal. :)

Amazing! Yours look soooo good! You must be thrilled! Great space between your cleavage! They are re symmetrical and round! I wish mine looked like yours!! Mine are 485s full profile but the left is bigger than the right . He should used a smaller implant on my left. I have issues and need a revision.... I think I need a capsulotomy...or capsulectomy maybe. I get the two confused ! Great result so far though! I personally think the size looks great on you!

Thank you!!! :) Mine look a little lopsided in real life though, but I think that’s mostly because the side with the bigger implant is just higher right now. Overall I’m definitely happy so far, but looking forward to the d & f process!!! When did you get yours done? I also get confused on capsulotomy and capsulectomy, lol. All I know is I had one of them done, lol!!!
