Post Op Day 1

Had my surgery yesterday!! Absolutely in love so far. Woke up in a little pain, really tight and lots of pressure. I went with 650 CCs! Took my pain med and was good from there. Mostly relaxed and laid around. Had zero nausea, took a couple small naps. Today I was up and about, feeling great. It's 11pm and I haven't had a pain med since 7:30am. Just swollen and some tightness/pressure still.

Cleared for surgery!!

It's official!! I am cleared for surgery. SOOOOO EXCITED. 13 days left, I can't believe how fast time is flying. When I first booked my date I felt like it would take forever.

Why doesn't anyone continue to update?! *sad face*

It's so frustrating, wanting to look at progression photos and hardly anyone keeps updating after the first couple months. I wanna see what they look like at 6-8 months and on! (I wish emojis showed up here) haha
Anyway, I am officially 45 days from my surgery date!! I am starting to become more nervous now. I just keep thinking, what if they look worse? I know I need to stay positive though! Feels like it's happening so fast

So far I have only worked with a coordinator, her name is Rosa and she has been very helpful. Every time I send her an email she responds within the hour or calls me. I put my deposit down yesterday and booked my date so now I am waiting for a patient concierge to contact me. The only thing I don't love is that I wish I could speak with the Dr. Personally before my pre-op appointment. I know they are so busy, but it's hard to tell who is actually looking at the photos and to get some specific answers I was looking for, using the coordinator as the middle man makes it a lot harder to take the plunge. However, after MONTHS of research, I am very confident that with Dr. Alvarez I will have amazing results!
